“I just went through the replacement of a 2nd floor heat-pump system (indoor air handler and outdoor condenser). I selected Cooper Climate Control after checking AZ Registrar of Contractors, Better Business Bureau and reading on-line reviews. Cooper Climate Control is also on the SRP trade ally network of contractors that participate in the SRP residential rebate programs. I actually started with 6 contractors which very quickly narrowed to Cooper Climate Control based on their overall proposal, options provided, price/value of each option, discounts and work description. I had 15 follow-up questions for which Kendall from Cooper Climate Control provided detailed, no-nonsense answers "in writing" (via email). I was also very fortunate to get firsthand feedback from a friend who had used Cooper Climate Control as their contractor.The install was completed today and it has been an an excellent experience from start to finish. Kendall is an experienced professional, extremely thorough and genuinely polite. After I signed the sales agreement, Kendall set-up an appointment to brief me on the process and schedule the pre-installation/measurement and installation dates. The install was performed 1 week after I signed the sales agreement. Kendall *always* kept me updated via text/email/phone call. This really helped me coordinate my home and work schedule. The installation team was wonderful. They were very thorough, efficient and very careful. Like Kendall, they always used booties when inside the house. They laid down mats to protect flooring/carpet. They pretty much answered any question I had. This included checking the equipment before installation, operation of the new system as well as pointing out differences between the old and the new system (for example - filter box, circuit breaker capacity). The install was estimated to take until between 2 - 4 pm. It was completed at approx. 1 pm. Kendall came over after the install to inspect the work (inside and outside) and briefed me on use/operation of the new thermostat. Kendall then reviewed and walked me through paperwork/packet that he had already completed beforehand. This included all the requirements for the SRP rebate, system information (model no, serial no, manuals, etc.), warranty registration. The system I selected and had installed was a TRANE 4-ton 16 SEER2 two-stage heat pump and variable speed air handler.Based on the overall experience and results, I have no reservations recommending Cooper Climate Control.“

“I decided to replace my 23 year old HVAC in January rather than wait until it would, no doubt, die in July. I called this company just to get an idea of what replacement would cost. Scot spent a great deal of time explaining the different brands, sizes, costs. etc. I hesitated about getting a unit 1/2 ton larger than the one being replaced. In the end I went along with it. The company showed up and the new unit was completely installed on the same day. Todd, the installer, could not been more accommodating or pleasant. It has been a couple of cold weeks since the installation, and I now realize how inefficient my old unit had become. The new unit turns on, runs for a short time, warms my home, and shuts off whereas it seemed that my old unit ran incessantly. Even with a larger unit my monthly bill is already running less than last year. I had been quoted between 2-3K more by another company than I ended up paying. All in all I feel American Cooling And Heating is an honest, dependable and efficient company, and I highly recommend their services.“
