However, I received a call back within minutes from Doug at PlumbSmart. He advised that he could haves someone at my home Sunday Morning. The technician, Jacob, arrived on time. Very professional. He advised that that the repair was minor and the unit could be repaired. Jacob had the repair made within 1 hour. He also completed a diagnostic test for the entire system. Everything was good. My system is working and I can stop sweating. :)“

Tom was out same day to give a quick diagnosis of a bad fan motor. My system is less than 10 years so the manufacturer should still have it under warranty. He checked with Trane and unfortunately the company that installed my AC didn't register it so no warranty.

He was out next day with a replacement motor and it's now working again.

For those curious on price, I have a 5 ton Trane AC. Diagnosis was about $70, which you can put towards a repair. If my fan motor was under warranty, repair would have been just under $700. Without warranty, repair was just under $1,400.

Honest company for my first time trying and I would use them again on my next repair or maintenance.“
