“Dr. Arima is a wonderful eye doctor, is efficient and explains things well. His many years of experience is obvious, and he has an endearing personality. My main purpose of reviewing is for the optician, Evan. My family has been going to MCV for many years and now I will only purchase glasses there from Evan. I make appts just so I can be assured he's there. Over the years we've had several opticians help us with selecting glasses, and while they were all nice (Jessica, who used to work there, was also great), Evan is exceptional. He knows what he's doing. He can steer you towards glasses that match your face shape, color preference, price range, and can give you an honest opinion when you're sitting with 2-5 pairs and can't decide. What I find unmatchable is his knowledge of accurately applying your insurance. As silly as that sounds, I've sat with other opticians during the pandemic years who may have over quoted me every time, so I chose not to get new glasses. I was sad when Evan left but was ecstatic when my daughter and I went for our most recent exam and saw Evan working in the optical department. Before walking in, I had told my daughter that we would probably be purchasing her glasses elsewhere so to not plan to stay after her exam. Because Evan is back, we not only got her new glasses but I finally got an updated pair that I wasn't planning on. I've even chosen my next pair of glasses I will be purchasing in the new year when my new insurance benefit renews. Evan makes finding the right pair of glasses a pleasant experience. You won't be oversold anything and he'll have them done correctly“

I would also like to recognize Arlene. She helped me with my Care Credit transaction and I was confused about the terms. It was my fault for assuming I could have the 24 mo deferred plan but PEC didn't offer that. Only the 6 mo option. I did not realize my mistake until AFTER I had paid and after my surgery was complete. She felt so bad for me and was so kind. She went above and beyond to help and I will always be grateful to her for that. The entire staff is honestly so kind. Thank you PEC, for a great experience!“

“I’ve been going to Vista Optical for years and I honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable without ever making you feel rushed or pressured into buying the most expensive frames.
During my last visit, Jenny helped me pick out new progressive lenses and she really listened to what I liked and didn’t like, and even pulled a few frames I wouldn’t have chosen myself that ended up looking amazing. The gentleman — and, as I understood, his wife — were both extremely helpful and took their time to explain everything clearly.

“Walmart Vision/Optical has a very knowledgeable staff. EJ, Kiaria and Rob are great! Each of them are helpful and their customer service skills are great. Insurance is accepted there and even the one time after cataract surgery Medicare can be processed by them. The Vision Center offers regular lenses as well as Nikon lenses. I got to them for their excellent customer service, wide selection of frames, discounting on multiple pairs and Nikon lenses. A huge thanks to each of them for all their help!“

“I give Diana a #1 in sales and she is very patient with me . I have had to cancel several time's as my back is always in cronic pain . I thought that they might dismiss me and they are very good about understanding my situation. I tried to put a star 5 in , but my phone won't let me . As you can see it highlighted all stars. “Came to this location for my first vision exam since moving to Marysville last year. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. All my questions were answered by the staff. Not having my eyes dilated due to their machine was an added bonus!

I came back a few days later to really take my time to find a new pair of glasses. HUGE shoutout to Geo for making this second visit the most enjoyable experience in choosing a new frame. She was knowledgeable about what frames suited my facial features and patient with my indecision of color choices. I’m really happy with my choice of frames because of her!“

“My wife and I were scheduled to take a cruise out of Seattle leaving 8/15/2025 to Alaska. The evening before we were going to depart, her eye became red and runny. We thought she had pink eye and we would not be able to board the ship. I took her to an Urgent care and the ARNP referred us to Alderwood Vision Source. They were able to work her into the schedule at 11 AM. Dr. Jacob Gilbar looked at her and immediately knew it was not pink eye, it was an eye hemorrhage, told us not to worry and wrote us a letter verifying that she was not contagious and safe to travel. From the scheduler to reception through Dr Gilbar this facility operated with compassion, concern and urgency. We got on the ship and had a wonderful time. We greatly appreciate thier service to us!
