Was planning on paying for them. Was informed that they were on warranty and they’ve fixed them for free. Did I mention we didn’t bring the arms of the glasses that were broken. They took the lenses out and put them in the floor frames so there was no wait for fixing them.“

I was there when there was a temporary doctor, so I can’t say much about that, but the temporary doctor performed excellently. I would honestly advise people to come and check the store out and schedule an appointment with them.“

“The doctor and staff are wonderful, however, both times I have gone for appointments I was taken late by 45 minutes and if you add the 15 minutes they ask you to come before your appointment it’s an hour until you are seen.“

“I went there pre-covid and did not have a good experience. The Dr. rushed my appt, barely said 2 words and was gone in less than 10 minutes. I don't know the name of the Dr back then or the one we had today. They do not introduce themselves. I think it was the same one but I can't say for sure. Anyway, totally different experience today. He was thorough and explained what was going on with my son. My son is almost completely blind in his right eye and 20/30 in his left. He gave me advice on vision therapy and explained there was still hope for my son's vision. He was very kind and helped us pick glasses that were appropriate for him. It was pretty spendy $650 because he needs special lenses and a back up pair that our state medical covered. I also got an exam and have state medical. Reception was helpful and friendly. I didn't feel less than or treated badly for state medical like I have read on some reviews. Their glasses are quite expensive. I will get mine from warby Parker.

“I was very hesitant to come here after reading the reviews but was pleasantly surprised! Came in to be seen by a dermatologist for an acne consultation at 11. I was immediately able to walk up to the check-in counter. Sharon helped me and was very kind. I was seen within 2 minutes of sitting down so right at my appointment time. I was seen by Jennifer Pinson who was very nice as well. They were knowledgeable and answered my questions. Even told me the price of the prescription. Check out was easy and a younger blonde female helped me schedule my next appointment. I was in and out within 20 minutes. Overall, great experience!“

“My wife and I have been using Dr. Rhee for over 11 years and have recommended him to all of our friends. We both had RK surgery on our eyes which makes it difficult to get a prescription because your vision fluctuates while you look through the phoropter. But he takes the time necessary and always gets it right. We like that he is very professional but yet kind and humble and answers all of our questions. Its tough when your getting older and your vision keeps changing but at least we have him tracking our vision and watching out for us. Costco also provides him with all the latest equipment that others didn't have. And you can order your glasses at the optical department when your done and save money there.“

“Saw doctor Nathan Gorham. I’ve had negative experiences at the Lacey/Tumwater Costco optical but Nathan was awesome. Got in and out in like 20min. I explained to him my concerns and having gotten bad prescriptions before from doctors who tried to give me contacts for my astigmatism (but they never work as good as the ones without). He tried a few different things and then gave me the perfect prescription. He went through the images with me afterword and taught me some new things about the eyes. Great experience overall and great customer service. They also have forms for people with VSP insurance so you can get reimbursed for your appointment.“
