I was recently recommended The Prik to go to for a piercing. This was my first piercing so I didn't know what to expect. Adrienne was very nice and knowledgeable about any questions I had and aftercare. The shop is very accessible at the end of church street and has a nice vibe on the inside, as well as lots of jewelry to look at. I recommend and will definitely be back!

Renee Cross is my Allstate insurance agent two years ago. She just about changed my life. I came in with very thin lips and my top lip was about nonexistent when I smile. I now have plumper, hydrated lips and cannot wait to come back to have them plumped a little more in a couple weeks. Becca is an amazing massage therapist!! I have been going to her for over a year. I enjoy a shiatsu massage to feel realigned with my body. I often find myself so relaxed that I have been known to fall asleep during the massage (which is impressive considering my insomnia!). My husband also had been struggling with a shoulder injury and has been going to Becca and it has been getting better! The studio space is in a great location (in Burlington but with plenty of street parking available) and the studio is professional, clean while also being inviting. Becca has a very calming and positive energy that just seeing her uplifts my day. Highly recommend!

I recently worked with Diana at Queen City Flowers to create a custom bouquet for a special occasion for my sister. She was extremely thoughtful and attentive and the end product was beautiful. She even hand delivered the bouquet on the same day!

I booked an appointment to go from dark blonde to a cool blonde and was assisted by Carissa. She was incredibly kind and friendly throughout the entire process, carefully listening to all of my requests and suggesting the most suitable options without ever pushing her own preferences over mine.
The process took about six hours, but it was absolutely worth it! The blend and color turned out beautiful, and she was also very careful to keep my hair healthy and avoid unnecessary damage.
I would especially like to compliment her for staying after the salon's closing time just to patiently finish the job, taking all the time needed to complete everything properly without rushing.

This salon is about more than business! They are serving our community. This is a vibrant hub for POC and others seeking braids, dreads, locs, cuts, presses, event prep and more, not to mention warmth and laughs. The work is excellent, no matter who your stylist is. Don't hesitate to CALL if it seems booked because there are many professionals there who will work you in if they can! They have a decent inventory of hair and products. There is a barber there too, adding to the range of styles regardless of gender. People from all walks of life go there and the staff finds a way to get people in, with respect for all ages and life circumstances. Feels like family, but the hair styling is so. much. better. Highly recommend.

I am not someone who usually writes reviews on account of being lazy but I felt so compelled to write one after the haircut I just got today. I am a boy with curly hair who likes to keep it long, and I was a little apprehensive toward the idea of going to a men's salon because of my past experiences with awful barbers and stylists who did not know how to cut into my curls or long hair, however I was pleasantly surprised. My stylist was Valentina and when I tell you she's a miracle worker. I have never felt more confident in my hair. I was a consistent client for almost 2 years and never did I get a bad hair cut. It saddens me that I have to find a new stylist, but if you're someone like me who has trouble finding a stylist who can do more out there styles for men with curly hair, I recommend coming here!

I was visiting from out of town for my friend's wedding, and wanted to freshen up my feet after a week of hiking! Leanne did a great job with my toes, and I'm excited to see how the gel polish holds up. She had great attention to detail, was very gentle with the nail tools, and efficient. I'd go again!
I came in today for a full gel set. I also brought my sister who has cerebral palsy with me for her to get a gel manicure. They were so accommodating and friendly! It can be hard to do her nails because she moves but the lady did an amazing job! Well definitely be coming back
I had such a wonderful experience getting my nails done and I'm SO happy with how they turned out. I'm in VT for the week and was really overdue for a nail refresh. I decided to try Essential after seeing photos online of the gorgeous nail art done here. I've never had nail art done, only boring solid colors, and have always wanted to get it. I came to the right place! My only regret is that I don't live closer to come back consistently. I highly recommend Essential Nails. The owner is not only so talented, but provided great conversation and laughs!

I scheduled an early morning appointment for my autistic 8 year old daughter who is very sensitive to music and loud noises. Destiny was able to accommodate my request to turn the music off and made the whole experience very enjoyable for my daughter. She was respectful and professional. Price was reasonable.
I would definitely recommend this place for children, especially those with special needs.

Highly recommend BP Wastewater! The two technicians, Colin and Tyler, were both friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient.
I put out feelers at a few area plumbers/contractors to get a quote re: a shower that occasionally leaks a few drops into the basement below. Somebody else said based on photos that it looked like the whole shower needed replacing, 10k quote, I was panicking & trying to hype myself up to do this intimidating job myself.
Then these guys called me on their way home from another job in my area & offered to drop in right then to take a look. 20 minutes later they're here, they diagnose it as likely an issue where the hardware attaches to the wall, offer to fix it for a $220 service call fee, and within the hour they were done, after having also cleaned off some bad water stains & unblocked the slow-draining sink nearby just for funsies. 10/10

Called the day I wanted decompression and I was lucky to get an appointment same day . I’m a new client , so I was so happy to get in so quick . I have lower back pain and pinch nerve in my neck. Long story short, Dr.Smith was sooooo kind and understood my concerns . He knew the issues I had by just seeing me , I was impressed . After I had the decompression and laser therapy done by Darlene and a tiny adjustment with no snapping or cracking from the doctor , I felt like a new person . Will be going back regularly for maintenance .

I think this is the first Google review I’ve ever written. I’m clicking “5 stars” because I don’t wish to diminish the business’s “rating” or reputation, however, I was disappointed with my experience at this studio. I’ll preface this by saying I’m a long-time yoga practitioner and teacher with a 500hr certification, so I understand what the instructor was trying to do in prohibiting me from practicing as I wanted during my period, but autonomy is so important in yoga spaces. Some tradition in yogic systems should/can be left aside, if the student wishes to move as she pleases through asana. This is just one example. We aren’t talking a major safety issue because of menstruation. I appreciate the high qualifications and deep respect for the practice this studio obviously embodies, but in the simplest terms, if a student wants to practice her handstands or engage her core when bleeding, let her. I don’t have a lot of time for my own student-ship these days, and was really looking forward to working my asanas this morning, not being made to be in relative inaction in my body. My apana would’ve survived it.

Jintina is a highly intelligent therapist. Her work has helped me recover from serious neck pain related to full time IT work. She understands anatomy very well and is active with her continuing education. I’ve had a dozen massages with her including Thai and table massage. I’ve always left feeling like a marshmallow. If you haven’t had Thai massage it’s performed on the floor on a comfortable pad and it’s a fascinating combination of massage and stretching. Being on the floor allows her to have leverage that’s beyond that of a table massage. It’s very different and incredibly relaxing. I close my eyes and let her make me feel transported. She’s a rockstar.

Ria Conrad combines thoughtful instruction with appropriately challenging strength work, along with a steady, reassuring approach that makes the recovery process feel more manageable. Of the many physical therapy practices I’ve worked with, this has been the most effective and supportive experience by far. The clinic is also conveniently located, with complimentary parking and a clean, well-organized space.
I'm a 29 y/o whose job require that I maintain a strong level of fitness and health. I try to get massage therapy at least once a month so that I can continue to train and do my job at the highest level possible. While traveling through the area I had the opportunity to get an appointment with Ann. I've been getting massage therapy for over 7 years and she is by far one of the most knowledgeable and experienced practitioners I have ever met. Even though I only had one session with her she took the time to get my full background, screen me and still put in an hour of quality work. She has a wealth of experience she is willing to share based on her background working with olympic athletes, and as an athlete herself. I highly recommend her work. Although I do not live in the area, if traveling through again I would not hesitate to get another session.

I can’t recommend this practice highly enough. After more than 20 years of chronic back and neck pain. I tried nearly every option available with only limited and temporary relief. As the last resort I decided to try Acupuncture, and I’m glad I did. I haven’t felt this level of relief in years. Not only have my back and neck symptoms significantly improved, but my migraines have also become far less frequent. What were once debilitating episodes are now rare and considerably less severe. Sharon is highly knowledgeable and has broadened my understanding of the many ways Acupuncture can support overall health and pain management. For anyone dealing with persistent pain, I strongly recommend considering making an appointment with Sharon, my experience has truly been transformative and has made a significant difference in my quality of life.
