APEX Heating and Air answered the call! My in laws who are 91 and 87 had their original 30 year old heat pump fail, just days before a major heat wave came into the area. With temperatures projected to exceed 100 degrees for several days, they came out to their residence evaluated the job, priced it competitively and once the contract was signed they were able to order the system and install within 3 days. Understanding the situation with heat and elderly people, Bobby, Justin along with the installation crew team were able to get their new system operating just in time. We highly recommend this local company.

If I could give more than 5 starts I would! I will never go to another esthetician! Emily is incredibly talented in her work. She is always able to schedule my appointments quickly and her technique is really the best I’ve seen. Pricing is really reasonable. Her room is very relaxing and spa like. Rooms and equipment are very clean. I also noticed how many services are offered. I’ve booked several different ones with Emily and they have all been exceptional. After just one facial I noticed glowing skin, and a less puffy face.

Let me start off by saying Holly was amazing to work with since the beginning. When I went in for my trail, I had no idea what I wanted for makeup. She took control and I was blown away by what she came up with. The day of the wedding she was punctual and communicative from the start. All of my bridesmaids had little to no idea what they wanted done with their hair. She looked at their hair and face, suggested a few things, and did some amazing braids and updo’s. Her and Nicole felt part of the bridal party. They worked but also talked and laughed with us. And the best part, she made sure to include my mother with her hair and makeup. I would recommend her to any bride!

She keeps me informed every step of the process, she is super easy to talk to, and she is very realistic with expectations. Professional environment is a relaxed atmosphere. Proprietor is friendly, jovial, and pleasantly welcoming. Process is comfortable and stress-free, pain is minimal, much less someone would expect from such procedures. Customer is treated with respect, dignity, and care. Conversation during process passes the time with a pleasant, humanizing appreciation of humor and good spirit. I have never done this before, and I could not be happier with the experience.
I should have gone here first. I could have avoided the several weeks delay I experienced at another store that submitted my prescription incorrectly, twice. Here, I got my glasses in 1 week, and for $60 less than the first store. Holly and Jaden are fantastic! They are friendly, helpful, very professional and efficient. They double-checked each other's measurements for my glasses, and I had confidence that their work would be perfect, and it was. Thank you for all your help, Holly and Jaden!

The Babe Cave provided hair and makeup services for my November wedding, and I was delighted with the results.
Specifically, I worked with Makayla for hair services, and Payton for makeup services. They both were so friendly and professional. I am not someone with a lot of hair or makeup experience, but they were both patient and collaborated with me to get the look that I wanted - making use of inspo pictures and bridal trials.
They were happy to provide services on-site at my Staunton venue, and they were able to complete 6 hairstyles, and 4 makeup looks for the bridal party and myself. They helped achieve the romantic, storybook wedding look we hoped for.
I would recommend them for other Staunton/Waynesboro brides!

I've only been in VA a little over a year. So far I've been to 2 other salons trying to get what I wanted. Didn't happen.So I get settled in a chair at Melissa's shop, told her what I wanted and she did not disappoint! I went in there, met a stranger & left with a new friend. Each and every time I get my hair cut here, it’s perfect, and it doesn’t matter who’s doing the cut. The crew is always so friendly, too. Even if there is a wait, it doesn’t feel like a wait because of the conversations going on. Reminds me very much of the barber shop I used to go to as a kid in North Boston with all the “neighborhood” guys, it’s familiar and relaxing.

Wonderful gel pedicure! Great customer service. Excellent and adequate price. By far the most relaxing and long (in the best way like they actually weren’t just trying to get rid of me so they could move on to the next) pedicure I have ever had. I’ve been to the fanciest nail spas where a pedicure is a $100+ and they didn’t do half of the things that Classy Nails did. I also love that they didn’t try to push the more expensive pedicure options, they just let you do what you want with no pressure. Also was very appreciative that I was there with my mom and grandmother and they made sure that we each had our tech so that we could be all doing it together and finish at the same time too. I live 45 minutes away but no doubt I will be going back 🙌🏻
I got a manicure + pedicure, the pedicure was soooo relaxing and my feet felt really smooth afterwards as well as the nail varnish colour looking amazing. I was also really happy with my manicure which lasted three weeks! I chose a pink design with white stripes which I know isn't always easy but I was happy with it!

My Mother has been going to Mary Jane and Scottie for years now and Mary Jane has set my Mother's hair and given her permanents for many years and my Mother Always has Commented how Very Very Nice Both of Them Are to Her and when She was Still Driving in her 90s They Even Walked Her to Her Car and Even Followed Her Home to Make Sure She Got Home Safely and All Right because I was in an assisted living home and Couldn't Drive After Having Five Back Surgeries and I Appreciated This Act of Kindness So Very Very Much!!! Now I will be going to either Mary Jane or Scottie to get my hair cut since I Have Heard How Very Kind and Nice Mary Jane and Scottie Are to Their Customers and what a Great and Awesome Job They Do on Womens' Hair!!! Highly recommend Allie for your lashes! She does a great job and her attention to detail is unmatched. Her table is comfy and heated (great if you’re always cold like me), and she plays great music or murder mystery podcasts that make the time pass by super quick. I enjoy my visits to her shop and my classic lashes have been perfect every time!
I cannot recommend Sarah enough! I have had many professional massages throughout my life and she is by far the best. There is no wasted time during your session. Every moment is therapeutic and intentional, and just the right amount of pressure. She works with you and makes sure all the right places are being taken care of. It's been wonderful to also have prenatal massages for the first time with Sarah. Growing a baby is hard on your body and Sarah provides much needed relief and care. Having had a child herself, she knows what you need! Don't even hesitate, book an appointment with Sarah, you won't regret it.
I am generally not a fan of massages, while on vacation my wife talked me into getting a couples massage at Breezy Hill. It was amazing, I felt so relaxed the whole time and left feeling so good. Certainly not an experience I regret. Thanks to the staff for creating an atmosphere of total relaxation.

I had electrical upgrades of my 1960s ranch started by another company and almost immediately regretted calling them. They kept taking breaks and didn’t seem to want to be working, though I was being charged for their time. I knew I didn’t want that crew coming back to my house, so I called Dudley Electrical and asked Daniel if they could finish the work and make the house safe for our family.
Daniel Dudley met me at the house that afternoon to review the project. Nothing about our electrical was up to code, so his team spent two days working to bring us into this century, including fixing work done by the original company. Dudley Electric’s crew arrived on time each morning and set right to work. They were polite, knowledgeable, and dedicated to their craft. They discussed options with me so they could provide the best solution for our needs and budget, all while ensuring they brought our house up to modern code requirements.
Dudley Electric was a godsend for our family, and I know we’re safer in our new house thanks to their work. I recommend them highly to anyone in the area who needs quality electrical work performed in their home or business. They’ll have our future business!

The best chiropractor I've ever been to, across the country and in-state. She is the only chiro I've met who will go up your whole spine and carefully find misalignments (some things she fixed that I didn't know were affecting me until it was re-aligned and I felt better). Helped me see that my clavicles were uneven and fixed that too. Brought in my friend who had pressure headaches. In one session, she determined that his jaw was out of line, she fixed it painlessly, and he experienced immediate fluid drainage. No longer has the headaches. Brought in another friend's 11 year old who had been suffering mid back pain that affected their breathing, and she fixed it in a single adjustment. Kid breathes and runs around fine to this day.
Rachel Heneberry is a miracle and I can't believe service like this is available in Staunton, at such an incredibly fair price point. She has great communication and was always flexible to meet my scheduling needs. I can't recommend her enough!
We have taken all our animals to AVAH since we moved to Staunton in 1986. In that time, they have saved the lives of our pets more than once and always kept them healthy. The doctors and whole staff get to know you and your pets and clearly want the best for them, and they know how to deliver. Our pit bull, Lilly, loves everybody there. She doesn't like the shots or having her temperature taken, but you can't have everything. Before and after those procedures, you'd think she was at the dog park, she is so excited to see everyone, and they are all obviously just as happy to see her and to help keep her healthy.
Dr Miller is the best vet! She has taken care of our animals for almost 20 years. We wouldn’t go to anyone else. Not only is she knowledgeable she is also very compassionate. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.
I brought my grandpuppy Shelby to them with dental issues. They took great care of her. At 10 yes old, she had lost her energy, now she is so active and in shape. She has a sparkle in her eyes and is so annoying wanting to play ball all day.. Back to normal....Thank you ladies Great Job!!!!
????? Excellent care from staff and surgeons. My gelding had an emergency eye removal on Thanksgiving weekend a few years ago. Dr. Trostle was kind enough to come in and do the surgery in the early morning so I could bring my boy home that afternoon. He recovered well and lives pain free at last!

I have been going to Emma for grooming for 10 years she does an amazing job and I love her. She treats my dogs as if they were her own.
UPDATE: I returned for more deep tissue work, this time with Siri as Natalie has retired— and MAN, Siri did not disappoint. One of the best sessions I have ever had. I could feel her hands reading me like Braille, reacting to what my body needed.
