Great experience! Dr. Gaines is fun yet professional and takes time to answer all questions. I felt an immediate trust and like with her beautiful personality and her obvious love for horses. (She also owns her own horse and rides and I think that is a real plus in understanding us horse owners and the issues that come up.) Their vets come to your farm or give you the option to trailer your horse to their clinic, which is cool. I look forward to having her vet my horses whenever the situation arises.

We drive 45 minutes to get to Westwood rather than go to a vet closer to us. We have used their services for our dogs and horses since the 70s I think, I was a child back then but it seems like that's all we ever used. The vets at Westwood have always been and still are so caring and kind and don't over treat. They give you the information to educate you and let you make an informed decision about your pet's care without pressure from them. Even when I lived in Maryland I would take my dogs to Westwood when I came down to visit my mother, because I trust them! Westwood rocks! 🥰🥰
