She has the most comforting, joyful energy and somehow made the entire getting-ready process feel like hanging out with a best friend instead of just getting my hair and makeup done. I got my hair colored by Katlyn once ahead of my trial, along with a fresh cut and color a few weeks prior to make sure we were ready for the day, and every experience was easy and fun.

Of course, she made me feel absolutely BEAUTIFUL on my wedding day (I’m still obsessed with how everything turned out!!!), but what I loved most was how much she cared about me. She was checking that I was breathing, keeping me calm, and reminding me to actually enjoy my wedding morning. She made me feel so cared for during a moment that could have easily become overwhelming.

I hadn’t been to a salon in almost two years because I’d been cutting and coloring my own hair. I’m naturally blonde, but I used to dye it every couple of weeks to give it a warm, ginger tone. Eventually I dyed it fire-engine red, then bleached it, and most recently covered everything with black box dye.

About a week ago, I decided I was ready for a change and attempted to get my black box-dyed hair back to my natural color on my own. After color remover and two rounds of bleach, my hair was ten different shades of orange and extremely damaged. I had no idea what to do next, and I definitely didn’t want to keep walking around with my hair looking the way it did.

I walked in without an appointment, and despite the salon already being fully booked, they were kind enough to fit me in. I can’t express how grateful I am that she did. She truly saved my hair.

She took what I thought was beyond repair and transformed it into exactly what I had envisioned. The color is beautiful, my hair looks healthy again, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the outcome. What seemed impossible was made possible through her talent and expertise.

Not only is each one of the girls incredibly skilled, but they are warm, welcoming, and genuinely care about their clients. While I was there, every single customer who walked out of the salon left smiling and looking more confident than when they came in.
