“I adopted a teenage puppy who had lots of leash reactivity and lots of pulling. Denise was the 2nd trainer we worked with and since working with Denise, he's made huge progress! He would lunge and bark at everything from a cart to a recycle bin to a tall branch hanging over the fence. After determining the right tool that worked for me and him, and working through some of my own anxieties with him, I feel more confident walking him and he is much easier to handle. Me and him still have work to do, (practice makes perfect!) but I feel like I can breath when I take him out of my house and I no longer worry about the big feelings and reactivity that he had towards any and everything. Thanks to Denise, my teenage puppy might just make it to his humans sports events one day!“

“We cannot speak highly enough of Keri and Unleashed Abilities. Over the last 15 years, we have been lucky enough to work with Keri with each of our three rescue dogs. Keri proved herself to be nothing short of a miracle worker when working with us and our first dog - a desert dog from the Middle East (who earned the name “Wild Dog” from his rescuers). To say he needed a lot of training would be an understatement, but after a few months with Keri, he settled into life with us and was the absolute best boy.We are currently working on training our newest rescue dog. Keri gives such great guidance that we saw a remarkable effect after just the first session. As we’ve continued to work together, his behavior and leash manners have improved immensely. Keri is wonderful at modeling how we can work with him and gives us clear “homework” to work on between sessions. She also has great rapport with dogs - he absolutely adores her and even our nervous older dog is instantly at ease with her. She is quick to respond if we have questions between sessions and we have always felt very supported. We highly recommend Keri and Unleashed Abilities!“

“We connected with Susie shortly after we adopted a Westie mix from the animal shelter. Our dog (Sophie) dealt with reactivity issues when we went outside for walks. Susie worked with us extensively to both improve Sophie's comfort level around other dogs and also how we could distract her through the use of positive reinforcement and clicker training.We greatly appreciated Susie's time and her willingness to ago above and beyond to help with with Sophie. She came to us for training, joined us in our nearby park (Meridian Hill Park), and even offered up her building front yard for long leash training. I love getting Bailey's daily walk reports where Brittany writes how the walk went, what type of "business" was done, and includes the most adorable pictures. “Amazing experience I got my two boys groomed. They are senior dogs and have some arthritis in the back legs and some skin issues. She worked with and bathed them with a special shampoo for skin allergy. Also got recommended products for skin allergies and possible different diets for allergy sensitive dogs. She sent me pictures through out and updated me with anything I needed to know. Quick to responded and very timely. I recommend Anyone taking their time to do research on a good groomer to definitely take you dogs here. I couldn’t have had a better experience.“
