I have not yet used this service for boarding but I can attest to the space being clean and the employees being kind. The woman who gave me my tour of the cat room was so warm and lovely, and the best endorsement I can think of is how the cats that were being boarded there looked comfortable, relaxed, and at ease in their condos.

I understand how if you are used to your cat having run of a whole house, the cat condo arrangement seems way too small. But I used to board my cats with a vet that used a similar set up and they always came home calm, happy, and unbothered by their time away. We tried boarding our highly anxious cat for the first time while abroad so someone could give her the anti-anxiety pills every morning.

While our baby had a complete meltdown and became highly aggressive as soon as we left, the staff did everything they could to calm her and make her more comfortable. We were given updates on her status everyday and, at some points, were in even closer/more constant contact as we were concerned. Great place to send your cat while away! We have a small tuxedo cat who isn't the most social with other cats but loves being around people. Even when we used to leave her over night alone, she would cry at the door! We started using Capital Kitty Cat Resort this year and couldn't be happier! They send tons of pictures and a daily report card so we know how our cat is doing. The facilities are clean and all the staff are incredibly caring and accommodating. So happy to have this place in DC!
