Potomac animal hospital is quite pricey, but we love the level of care our dogs have received over the past years. We go here for grooming, preventative care, and medical care. The reception staff is very friendly, as are the vets themselves.

My high-drive working line German Shepherd, Axel, has been well cared for by Dr. Michael Scott, now retired and a current owner, and his son, Dr. Jason Scott, for over ten years. Axel has been having GI problems, and when he was a puppy, he was very underweight. I switched to Potomac Animal Hospital from the previous vet's office because their advice was not working. Dr. Jason recommended the proper prescription dog food and turned around Axel’s health! I was genuinely concerned about his health at that time.All of the staff is friendly, and the people who take Axel to daycare service are very nice!! Doctors, technicians, groomers, and front desk personnel are first rate, professional, and friendly. Dogs have been a part of my family for over 60 years. This is the finest veterinary practice I have ever had the pleasure of bringing my pups to!
