“We had a fantastic experience with Ileana and Jose from Virginia Top Floors installing a new wood staircase. Ileana was accessible, responsive, and patiently worked with us on the design. Our staircase was old and we wanted something that would tie in the older design of our house with something more modern. Ileana had plenty of examples for us to look at, ideas on how to structure the new stairs, and was very open to our thoughts as well. Her expertise in stair design and construction really put us at ease. Ileana was also very transparent in cost with a line-by-line bill of materials with no hidden fees (including a discount for Veterans!). Since we request changes and modifications as the project went along, cost transparency and cost reasonableness were extremely important to us. Once the project started, we met Jose. Jose was super friendly and an excellent communicator, he patiently answered all of our questions, his work is professional, he stuck to the promised timeline, and made sure that even during the construction process, we could still use the stairs (he kept his workspace incredibly clean). Jose also made friends with our unfriendly cat (Jogja) who doesn’t like anyone. Jogja (who was at end of life and has since died) would sit by Jose’s side all day while he worked on the stairs.Ileana and Jose were a pleasure to work with and made our experience incredibly satisfying. They are honest people and work hard to make the customer experience their primary objective. When it’s time to have our floors redone, we will certainly contact Virginia Top Floors.“

“I built a home with Richmond American and upgraded the floors. The company they used was executive floors. I know when the builder had a few boards replaced that had been damaged during the construction process by other contractors they called them and while I was home they came in and very neatly replaced a few boards. I was skeptical at first, thinking that they would not match, or fit correctly, but 7 years later there has never been an issue with the repairs and even I can't find them to point out. I had my whole house painted and the painters on the last day damaged my floor with an aluminum ladder and scratched it 1/4" deep in multiple places in my entryway. I had the original floor info from the builder but wasn't sure who to call. I asked the builder for the floor installers name, and they told me "executive floors" and sent my info to them. A few minutes later Margie called and arranged an estimate, and for a few hundred dollars my floor damage was replaced by an clean and diligent working craftsman. The repair looks amazing, the repair man was prompt, on time, and left the area cleaner than when he arrived. If you want new floors, or to repair your existing floors I recommend you call Margie at executive floors in Manassas Va, and I'm sure you won't regret it“

“I meant to post this a few months ago, sorry it has taken me so long. In August, 2x4 Construction came to my house to install a sliding glass door. Before they came I thought the price was a little high, but they were recommended so I decided to pay a little more. It was well worth it! My original door wasn't plumb and Junior and John had to do a LOT of work to get my door in correctly. They were there all day on one of the hottest days of the year. Then, in December I noticed that the caulking around the door had come apart. I called Gary and he was over within the week and fixed it at no cost. Of course I gave him some money for his time and work. All three men were wonderful to work with.“

“The Sotheby floor team provided good work at a reasonable price. They were quick, professional and clean. Schedule early because of high demand and expect to pay 50% up front. This is a regional standard in contracting because of high demand. At times, it was hard to coordinate between subcontractors. This also seems to be a regional norm. A good company, providing the agreed upon and contracted service- recommended.“
“We recently had an irrigation pipe in our attic burst and after Servpro did the water mitigation, we were having a difficult time finding a contractor who could do the repairs in a timely manner. Wow! We lucked out when we found James Lambert Remodeling and Repair in our Regency Coop. He came highly recommended and from the time of our first request til a week later with a finished job we couldn’t have been happier. Jim did an appraisal and his crew was quickly able to begin the plumbing, drywall and painting in garage and master bath. The crew members were always on time, polite, hardworking and neat with their work. We felt like the price was very reasonable and most importantly felt like we were in good hands. We will definitely be using them in the future for other projects and would highly recommend their services.“
