“We hired B&G as our general contractor for a major renovation that added ~2,000 square feet to our home, including a new master bedroom, kitchen addition, and finished basement. This was a complex project involving foundation work, structural changes, new HVAC systems, extensive electrical and plumbing work, and high-end finishes throughout.

I'm giving B&G five stars because they were fair and reasonable during the contract negotiation, delivered excellent results and, more importantly, handled every challenge with integrity. Like any major construction project, we encountered issues along the way and had about two dozen change requests as plans evolved. What impressed me most was how B&G addressed every single problem fairly and worked with us until we were completely satisfied with the resolution.

The quality of workmanship is evident throughout - from the foundation and framing to the finishing touches like our quartzite countertops, custom cabinetry, and Trex deck. They coordinated numerous trades and managed a complex scope that included everything from underpinning our foundation to installing heated floors and a new heat pump system.

B&G's project management kept things moving despite the inevitable complications of major construction. They were responsive, communicated well, and stood behind their work. They made me aware of the damage, did multiple free inspections, clearly explained their findings, and handled all of the paperwork with the field adjusters and insurance company. “I looked at 8 different contractors before deciding on James Lambert. I wanted to get Coffered Ceilings installed on my 9’ ceiling and the final product came out more beautiful than I had imagined. He and his team are very punctual 8am-5pm with hour lunch break. I appreciate they put more men on the job and worked Saturday to get the coffered ceiling installed. The men who worked on this project were all very kind and hard working (Alexis was the main guy I spoke to aside from Jim). The end of each day, they swept the floors and took off all the trash and tarping which is nice so we can use the space. Once the project was completed, Monica (wife) sent all receipts and final invoice. Communication was very clear all throughout the project. The final invoice ended up being about 5k higher than the quote, which was a surprise. Nonetheless, I’m very pleased to gone with James Lambert as they have transformed our living room space to something absolutely beautiful.“

“I meant to post this a few months ago, sorry it has taken me so long. In August, 2x4 Construction came to my house to install a sliding glass door. Before they came I thought the price was a little high, but they were recommended so I decided to pay a little more. It was well worth it! My original door wasn't plumb and Junior and John had to do a LOT of work to get my door in correctly. They were there all day on one of the hottest days of the year. Then, in December I noticed that the caulking around the door had come apart. I called Gary and he was over within the week and fixed it at no cost. Of course I gave him some money for his time and work. All three men were wonderful to work with.“

“I needed to get my walk-in closet walls ready for a complete redesign, and I feel extremely fortunate to have discovered Closet Prep & Paint. They transformed my closet into a beautiful space that is now completely ready for the closet design folks to start their install.

From the initial consultation and explanation of the work (including how much and what type of paint I should buy) to completion of my project, Closet Prep & Paint performed an exceptional job. I had a closet with a lot of old and damaged white wire shelving that needed to be removed, and I also needed to have a plumbing access panel installed. Because of the shelf removal, the walls needed a considerable amount of patching in addition to a complete re-paint.

Teressa and her assistant arrived at the promised time, and after surveying my closet, they immediately began their setup and staging. I was delighted with how efficient and careful they were while they were working, and also with their attention to detail. It only took them one day to do what I consider to be a tremendous amount of work, and the results are really impressive. My closet now looks better than brand new! No crooked lines at any wall to ceiling seams, absolutely no paint on on the ceiling or carpet, lovely smooth and even finish on the walls and the baseboards. Stellar work all around. And after they left, it was as if no one had been there working at all! Everything was left clean and tidy.

I'm already thinking about my next painting project, and I will DEFINITELY use Closet Prep & Paint again! They are by far the best painting company I have ever used.“
