“Russell was upbeat when he arrived late at night after we called about a plumbing issue during very hot weather in Alpine. That friendly attitude right away made a stressful situation much easier. He quickly checked the problem, explained what was going on in simple terms, and got to work right away. He was very skilled, efficient, and handled the repair fast and correctly. By the time he finished, everything was working the way it should and we felt relieved. The next day, when we thought something still was not set right, Russell came back out right away at no extra charge. He took the time to show us how to use the water shutoff and other basic plumbing controls in the house so we would better understand the system. He adjusted everything, made sure it was all working properly, and answered our questions clearly. Before leaving, he also took a quick look at a leaking toilet we had been dealing with. In no time, he fixed that too, also without an extra charge. That kind of help and honesty is hard to find. It was great to work with someone so dependable, fair, and highly capable with plumbing repairs. Russell was truly helpful, professional, and easy to trust.“

Carter and his team were phenomenol. They were prompt in getting to me to give an estimate. I received estimates from other companies at about 150% of Otterwise's price. They gave me different options at different price points and didn't pressure me into one over another.

When they came to my house for the estimate and then for the scheduled service, they gave me a two hour window for arrival rather than a four or more hour window, and both times, they came very close to the earliest time in that window so I wasn't stuck waiting around for them.

The service was great. While they were at it, they did a couple of extra things to improve the situation in my utility room that weren't quoted in the estimate, but they completed without an extra charge. They also found a problem with my water supply into the house which they fixed for me at no extra cost. They were friendly and flexible and communicative, and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They were also friendly to my dog.

Unless I were ever to discover a problem with the work they completed today (which I highly doubt would happen) I would and will use them in the future and will recommend them to friends and family. This was the least annoyed I've ever been to have to unaviodably shell out a lot of money (which, again, was less than I would have paid to other bigger companies with more overhead costs.“

“Ac went out two days ago, been procrastinating calling anyone hoping to figure out the problem on my own or that maybe the coils just froze over. (Not that I would have any idea what to do) Came home midday from work today to a very hot house and girlfriend and dog who had been sitting in the hot house and it being our second day of it. By chance one of the technicians with Alpine Home was sitting in his truck a house away from mine waiting to service one of my neighbors. I went out and spoke with the tech, Tyler, who said he had time to kill and offered to come have a look. In an hour he was able to diagnose it, had the part on his truck and had it fixed in one sitting. He was very straightforward, friendly and honest. Gave me a fair price and even told me beforehand. “What a winner Kyle is!! I asked many questions and he took time to answer all of them and explain things. He also explored options to make the things happen that I wanted done. No other place where I obtained bids was that thorough. He was not only a good businessman, but he was genuinely interested in me as a customer. He definitely is a people person and I enjoyed and appreciated working with him.

That said, a few days later when Kyle came back to install a new kind of filter which had previously been ordered, he informed me that the company had abruptly closed his office in my city and he wouldn't be able to install the humidifier we spoken about or follow through on additional agreements in the contract. Since he now had the filter which I had had paid for, he felt that he should bring it over. Others weren't so lucky. They had let him go and taken away his truck and uniform, so he was in his own car and clothing--and was out of a job overnight. Their main office is in Idaho (I live in Utah) and they kept that office open but accepted no responsibility for any contracts or agreements with customers in my area.

I don't know what exactly what happened in the office in Idaho to cause this callous and irresponsible care for their customers but AVOID this company even in Idaho since their interest and concern is definitely not with their customers.“
