Ac went out two days ago, been procrastinating calling anyone hoping to figure out the problem on my own or that maybe the coils just froze over. (Not that I would have any idea what to do) Came home midday from work today to a very hot house and girlfriend and dog who had been sitting in the hot house and it being our second day of it. By chance one of the technicians with Alpine Home was sitting in his truck a house away from mine waiting to service one of my neighbors. I went out and spoke with the tech, Tyler, who said he had time to kill and offered to come have a look. We are having problems with our AC cooling the upper floor of our home. The cold air did not reach the upper floor with sufficient volume. Tyler determined that the dampeners were not functioning properly so we installed new ones today. The next issue Tyler found after replacing the dampeners is that the control board is not reading the information from the thermostat. Tyler thought this might be a problem since the board is 20 years old. We elected not to spend the added $800 on the chance that the board might be working.

Tyler and Skyler were awesome. They made everything real easy, kept me informed on details, explained the why of things, and gave me a fair price. Their attention to detail was excellent.
