It was my first professional haircut since I moved to Bellmead… I had been procrastinating and my hair was very “shaggy”. When someone lets their hair get a lot longer than they normally like, it’s hard for a hair stylist to figure out what they want from just looking at their hair. My stylist was very patient and asked me a lot of questions, and showed me pictures of various styles from a magazine – and I got a hair cut that I really like!

Mia or Maya is THE BEST!! I own Spaces In-Between Cleaning (cleaning service) and I do hair at the Cutting Edge Salon, so my hands are ALWAYS in chemicals and water, maintaining healthy nails is a struggle for my every day life, unfortunately. HOWEVER, this salon in particular keeps me up to par and beyond, I am so thankful for them, entirely!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I’m a big pedicure/manicure person but since moving to Waco from Austin I haven’t been able to find a new salon that I loved. Well, that is until I found B&J nails! Run by a husband and wife duo, they are incredibly kind, gentle, efficient, and talented! The environment is comfortable and quiet. It is true that they prefer appointments since it’s just them two who work in the salon, but that shouldn’t deter you! I can’t state enough how perfect my pedicure was (as someone with VERY sensitive feet, it was perfectly gentle and attentive) and they made sure the job was FULLY done before I left - no wet polish duck walking needed!

My experience was amazing! I brought in my parents to get a pedicure and I got acrylics done for myself and even though there was only one person working at that time, she managed to do it all perfectly and also offered us drinks and water! The pedicures and my acrylics turned out amazing and it was a great experience. What was a plus was that I had my puppy with me and they were kind enough to let my puppy sit inside with me! Loved this place!

I am a relatively new client at Cooper and Company. I followed my pedicurist there. It is a lovely, large, salon with a boutique full of lovely things. It is open and pleasant and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I see Vanessa for my pedicures. She specializes in hard to care for feet. I have diabetic feet prone to ingrown nails and Vanessa takes those out. My feet feel so good when I leave there. The clients I see leaving the salon having had hair and/or nails done look lovely.

I got lash extensions done for the first time with Destiny. She was wonderful in explaining the process to me every step of the way and she didn’t mind that I was jittering a little from not being used to the tweezers near my eyes. It was a very relaxing experience overall, and she provided clear aftercare instructions and a complimentary aftercare kit. My goal for my lashes was a very natural look with shorter lashes in the center, fanning out to longer for a more cat-eye effect. We've been calling on Staas Plumbing for years for the usual reasons (clogged drains, toilet issues, etc.) and have always appreciated how quickly they resolve these issues. But when we needed to replace the drain line that ran from the middle of our house, this is where their expertise really helped us out. They got us in touch with Nick at 254 Tunnel (left a 5-star review for this company, as well) to tunnel under the foundation instead of jackhammering through our house. They did their best to minimize the damage under our kitchen sink and shower while replacing the drain line quickly and efficiently. We will definitely continue calling on them for any future issues.

We were looking for a quote to install a double vanity with two sets of faucets, and the plumber provided us with a very fair price. We encountered an unexpected issue: the marble vanity countertop needed to be trimmed down by 1 inch. However, the plumber quickly arranged for a marble technician to handle this, and they successfully completed all the work. We are very happy with the results! We called this morning because of what we suspected was a clog in the main sewer line. They sent two plumbers out by early afternoon. They were professional and efficient (and patient with my mother who never stops talking and who repeats herself), and the price was reasonable. Had called earlier in the week to see about getting a hot tub cut off and adding an EV charger in its place. Took a few days but got a call from a very friendly guy to set up an appt. I’d called another company and so let him know I thought I was covered. He told me to call back and ask for him if anything changed.
Well, things changed and he was able to send out Shawn within about 20 minutes. He did exactly what I asked of him and got the whole job done in a bit under two hours. Clean work and clearly explained. Car is charging like a champ and hot tub is free to the first one who wants it! Haha
Jerrett and his team do great work. We were getting a Tesla Wall Connector installed and reached out to all the Tesla Certified Installers indicated for our area. While most took multiple days to even reply, Jerrett immediately responded and scheduled a site visit for the following morning.
We had a relatively challenging project in that our main electrical panel was located outside the house. Jerrett was able to offer a solution going through the attic space of the house and dropping the cable behind the wall of the garage for a visually pleasing final installation without any visible conduit inside the garage.
On top of the charger-specific work, he caught and fixed an error our home builder’s electricians made in the electrical panel where they placed the whole-home surge protector on the wrong end of the panel, where it was effectively doing nothing and not protecting our system from surges.

I called OLS Electric after having some work done by a contractor who ended up damaging some cables under my home. The OLS Electric team was very prompt and listened to my wife and made her feel at ease. As it turns out, we actually had another issue besides what the contractor did. It was a very difficult problem to diagnose properly, but OLS Electric found the problem and literally saved our house from burning down (not joking, had a problem with the outside panel where the main breaker was smoldering and could catch fire at any moment). They ended up replacing the entire outside panel with name brand components and the repair costs was about half of what I expected. They will have my business moving forward.Services: General repairs

Previous owners had clearly been incompetent do-it-yourselfers. Reasonalble hourly rate, hard workers that didn't waste time, and they got me fixed up. They even allowed me to provide my own GFCI outlets which I had already purchased, planning to do it myself before finding out how much work it was :)

Very satisfied with Cen-tex appliance service. Kevin Smith, the owner/tech assessed my Maytag washing machine on the same day I first called and determined a part needed to be ordered. Within 2 days, he'd received the new part and installed it. Better yet, Whirlpool uses this company for factory authorized service. So, when I called (at his suggestion) to ask if they would honor a warranty claim 2 months out from the warranty expiration, Whirlpool paid for the diagnostics and replacement parts. I'm so glad I called Cen-Tex!

After meeting with several contractors about adding a built in desk and bookshelves to our office, Motex was our choice. We couldn’t recommend them more highly. I found I needed a base for the shed I bought at Costco. I opted for gravel. Since I wanted the base to outlast me and the slope in my yard. I decided on a stone border as opposed to the more traditional wood beams. Legacy Landscapes help me choose the material and explained to me their vision. I couldn't be happier with the final results. As a testament to the quality of the work, once assembled, the doors sat perfectly flush and squared. We will definitely be using them for our future projects.

Landscaping and More did such an amazing job on my landscaping. It gave my whole house a face lift. Joey communicated effectively and was extremely flexible. Even with the cost of items increasing, he still honored his original bid. That was amazing.
He offered additional advice on how to water the plants and what to expect in the next few weeks and months. He did such a great job, that I have asked him to work on a dog fence!

Gus and his team came into an overgrown and neglected yard. He left, leaving a beautiful and cleaned up yard. I have just under 2 acres. They took down several dead trees, cleaned up a very overgrown area by the pond (leaving a nice view of the pond), mowed, weed eating, edging, fertlized and cleaned everything up. They will be back to remove a load of junk to the dump.
I did pay a small fortune, but my place needed a lot of work and they tackled it. Worth the price.
Gus and team were so kind. They worked hard and fast. Definitely recommend him!!

Carbajal Tree service did a fantastic job in removing two large dead cedar trees and pruning the remainder of our trees and it has never looked better. I highly recommend them for any tree work you might have. They are the best.
During a storm on August 4, 2025 we had a very large red oak blow over taking down our power line to the house and destroying a metal fence. I called Carbajal Tree Service and they were here within an hour and made quick work of removing the fallen oak plus two others which were severely damaged by the red oak. I can’t say enough positive comments about the skill, speed and quality of the work provided. The photos are the proof. They are the best.

The entire team was incredibly kind, and the facility is truly top-notch - clean, modern, and equipped with the latest technology. Once again I’d like to give Dr. Latino’s dental office kudos for going above and beyond to ensure that my dental needs were taken care of. After receiving a notification that I was due for a dental exam/cleaning that I was unable to fulfill, Dr. Latino had his office reach out to attempt to reschedule my visit. Due to job responsibilities I wasn’t able to reschedule. The following week his office reached out about an available time that had opened up and it fit my schedule. On February 25th I was able to take an early appointment and Laura, my hygienist, was able to give my teeth a thorough cleaning and x-rays. Her attitude is great and she strives to provide her patients with the best care. Thank you to everyone in this office for making dental care an enjoyable and comfortable experience.

Dr Howell was absolutely phenomenal!!! After having a negative experience at Anthony Chiro, I gave up on finding anymore help. Until I was referred to Airrosti and I am beyond thankful I went!! First off I walk in and the place felt so comforting and welcoming. I was greeted by a very lovely woman named Maddy. I’ve had some back issues that have been lingering for years and never seemed to get any better after the countless appointments at Anthony. After only 3 session with Dr. Howell, I feel almost fully better and she got to the root of the problem!! She focused on fixing the muscle tissue and giving me plenty of at home things to do to help! She provided videos as well to make sure I remember how to do them at home AND even texted to check on me!! 100/10 recommend Airrosti Waco!!!
In Gatesville early 2024 I went there 3 times a week for 3 months ($65 each time) (over $700 per month). My back was worse by the third month. Then I went to cove family care in Copperas Cove. I go 4 times a year, back is doing great. Screw Gatesville Hillcrest and their unprofessional practice.

It has been a pleasure to meet Dr. Kast and his friendly Staff. He was always clarifying my doubts and he always made me feel comfortable and cared for. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. My husband was involved in a car accident years ago and Dr. Kast is the only chiropractor that helps him to relieve his back pain. I started treatment a couple of weeks ago and I have noticed a huge improvement.

I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. McMullen, and I recommend him highly. His adjustments are gentle, effective and very personalized to your needs. He asks questions and actively listens. He is a very kind person and you can feel he genuinely cares. I have seen many chiropractors and without a doubt he is the best I've seen. A painful issue with my arm, from shoulder blade to fingertips brought me into his practice. I had marked improvement after one adjustment, becoming better with each visit. She goes over everything with you finds out what your problems are and shares her finds and explains it to you so you can totally understand what is happening with your body and how she’s going to help you fix your issues. Really kind people. It’s always so stressful having a pet in an emergency situation. Our toy poodle was attacked and the vet was super careful and communicated each decision. It’s always pricey, it’s always after hours and it’s never really a positive experience but a polite and honest professional really helps. So grateful!

Northside since 1992--well, my parents are still clients, but I moved out of town in 2022. It had occurred to me to leave this review now because last Tuesday, I lost my elderly tortie cat, Sally, to kidney disease, and Dr. Cox treated her for hyperthyroidism while I still lived in Waco. If you need a vet who deals with animals and their owners alike with compassion and empathy, Dr. Cox is your man.
About 10 years ago, Dr. Cox made a house call (though I don't think Northside does those anymore) to euthanize our 21-year-old kitty, Sox, who also had kidney disease. Dr. Cox was so very kind and gentle with our old guy. He injected the sedative and then asked if there was a spot in the house where Sox loved to nap. So we moved our baby to his spot by the fireplace, and we sat and stroked him and talked to him as the sedative took effect. I still remember Dr. Cox saying something to the effect that he liked to imagine a cat on drugs would envision themselves bounding through fields of catnip and chasing after squirrels. We laughed through our tears, and we knew that we had given Sox the best life possible and a peaceful end.

LAAH folks are great and very considerate. The office has a separate entrance for the pups and cats. Only place to have exotics checked out in the area and wonderful to boot!
Really have enjoyed the service here. Staff is very respectable and things are a bit more casual here. We have brought our two dogs and still need to bring the two cats. The veterinarian we see is very nice they are willing to work with our budget to help us get the most done like shots etc within our budget. Very happy here. My understanding is that they offer boarding for cats and dogs. Really friendly and respectful to us and our dogs. Really very well pleased.

I’ll be honest — I had issues with this clinic years ago, and I was very vocal about it. If you’re from the Waco area, there’s a good chance you’ve heard about it. Because of that, I spent years trying to find a vet clinic that truly felt right for me and my dogs… and after a long search, I decided to give Coltonwood another try after hearing they had new staff and new procedures in place.
I’m really glad I did.
Dr. Cooksey is absolutely amazing. I genuinely love her. She listens to my concerns, takes her time, and always gives me her honest, thoughtful opinion. I never feel rushed, brushed off, or dismissed. That alone is huge.
The staff at the Loop location is also fantastic. Chance and Alexandra at the front desk are always kind, helpful, and on top of everything, and Heather, the vet tech, is a total star. They’re efficient, friendly, and make every visit smooth and stress-free. We’re always in and out without feeling hurried, which is the perfect balance.
Are they pricey? Well… aren’t they all? ? But the level of care, professionalism, and peace of mind I get here makes it worth it.
If you had a past experience like mine and have been hesitant to return, I can honestly say — give them another chance. The difference is real, and I’m grateful I did.
Amber loves our dogs just as much as we do, she truly treats them like her own! Her work on our long haired pups is always amazing, and she takes the time to communicate with us about our preferred style or any changes needed due to matting or knots. She cares for all four of our dogs, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her. In short: amazing human, amazing work! ?

Had a beautiful experience at Power Pilates. I took two classes, and enjoyed my experience very much. The instructors were very clear on the teachings and gave corrections when needed. I enjoy traditional pilates and can tell the instructors have many hours of reformer training. Felt very much at home, very friendly and inviting from the second I walked in. Loved the studio and will definitely go back!
Rae Snyder’s Infinity Pilates is & has been many good things for me. I joined the class about a year ago, primarily to regain strength after a long list of difficult circumstances. Rae doesn’t waste “time” which is important to all of us these days. She also somehow manages to see every move each of her “students” make, gently correcting as necessary. The studio is well-equipped for working most any & every area of the body. I’m in my seventies age-wise & will continue “minding Rae” at Infinity Pilates for the foreseeable future.
