4522 De Zavala Road, San Antonio“So thankful for STVO! I was happy to be seen without a primary vet referral. I was nervous about the cost considering its specialty services but was actually shocked it was much more affordable! The new patient fee was $225 and medication for my dogs ulcer was $250. They were able to diagnose him a lot quicker than going to a primary and suggested a 5 day follow up. This return visit was $135. I also very much appreciated all of the great knowledge shared on their site. That alone helped in understanding what treatments were available. Im very happy with the care ive received and happy to know i can go back with confidence knowing they give great advice and estimates of procedures“

21715 I-10 Suite 110, San Antonio“I’ve been going to Dominion Crossing since 2019, originally with my family’s dogs Bentley and Porter, and now with my own 4 fur babies (Atlas, Ruby, Crow, & Umber). I’m a huge animal lover and try to be really well versed in veterinary care so that my pets get the best care possible. Dr. Shaw and the whole team have been nothing but the absolute best to work with and have helped with Atlas’ many a problem. He has had three surgeries (neuter, lump removal, cancer removal), multiple biopsies, a multitude of issues with a cough, and finally excessive itchiness that needed intervention. The other three animals miraculously have no issues 🫠. They have helped us through each problem and been very informative of different treatment options and very transparent with pricing. They’ve also been so helpful dealing with our pet insurance! I’m breathing fine now because less than 24 hours after his first Cytopoint injection and he is itch free 🥺❤🐾 thank you!!“

1051 Austin Hwy, San Antonio“My first time here. The staff is courteous and professional while also providing excellent care of my Jazmine. Who was scared and shaking. The staff stayed with her and held her while the doctor examined her. They provided information on the care that was being administered. Answered my questions on services they provide and a summary of the cost. I really appreciate that they have an in house lab. The customer service from the front of the house to the medical staff was exceptional.“

1242 Austin Hwy Suite 102, San Antonio“My fur baby Zelda has had an ongoing allergy issue that we have not been able to resolve for her, and after being with our previous vet for years and seeing no improvement decided to come here for a second opinion. Dr. Sotelo and Tori were so sincere in trying to figure out a treatment plan that would help us achieve long-term healing. I feel so optimistic after just our first visit. Thank you for listening and helping us try to heal our fur baby. We are eternally grateful to you. Great experience, and we are so excited to continue our treatment plan here!“

6636 Crestway Dr, San Antonio“This was my first time here. They had my cat's name up on a white board to make us feel welcome. It's the little things that go a long way. I genuinely felt like they cared.
My cat had an appointment earlier this month and she's normally not great at the vet. She did so good with the tech or assistant and the doctor. She hissed once while getting her weight. But my cat hasn't had a proper exam in a little bit because last time (at a different clinic) she wouldn't let the doctor do a proper exam. Which is concerning for me because I want to know if everything feels and sounds good. I had the first appointment of the day so there wasn't anyone else in the lobby. My cat doesn't like when there's dogs in the lobby, it stresses her out and makes the exam harder. So I planned to be the first one to make sure she was as stress free as possible. I chose this clinic because my cat has been up to date on her rabies and I wanted a 3 years rabies for her, which they offered. And I also came here because of the good reviews. If I wasn't moving, I would definitely come back. I'm extremely grateful that my cat, Button, was able to have a full body exam, her heart and lungs listened to, and get more information about bladder stones. Thank you! ❤?“

Her dew claws also needed to be clipped as they had curled and were at the brink of digging into her paw pads. We decided to call Amigo Animal Hospital based on the reviews on-line. We are throughly pleased with the customer service and the treatment of our furbaby. We will definitely be going back for nail clipping. Our furbaby is due for a wellness check in February, and we know where we'll be going. See you soon.“

They are exceptionally considerate and extremely fair with pricing. I love how thorough they are with my babies and how they will answer every single question, no matter how mundane. I consider myself lucky to be able to call these guys my vets, not the other way around.“

8221 Broadway, San Antonio“In a panic a couple months ago I needed to find a vet for my very sick Boston terrier. Sadly, we had to put him down but this office got us in quick without being a current patient. We brought our three young kiddos with us for the whole ordeal and the entire office was so sweet, respectful and kind to our family.
Fast forward to a month or so ago, our other Boston terrier needed immediate care due to being attacked by two pit bulls in our front yard. We took him here immediately and they have truly been so caring throughout the whole process. We have been taking our pup weekly for check ups and he is almost healed without surgery (which is insane considering where he started). We never feel rushed or pressured but we also feel like they are up front and honest when discussing care.
I can’t say it’s been a joy through this season but I have had many moments where I have been grateful for this office and their support.
Thank you all!!“

19355 Stone Oak Pkwy, San Antonio“Had an incident where I dropped a medication on my cats head that turned out to be super toxic to cats. I went to 4 different vets and none of them would take walk ins for me. Then I called here. From the start they were so incredibly nice and got me in within an hour. I ended up leaving my kitty there for the day so they could watch over her and she turned out to be just fine. The professionalism and comfort of this place is unmatched. Thank you to everyone who works at this vet for taking care of so many animals. And now this will be my primary vet for sure!“

The whole process went smoothly, and the staff was so kind — they made me feel really comfortable about sending my kitten with them. His surgery was finished quickly, and I’m so happy with the care they gave him. Highly recommend“

19179 Blanco Rd, San Antonio“We cannot say enough positive things about Dr. James and her staff. We move to SA a little over a year ago and got our senior Westie established with Dr James based on recommendations from a friend. We sadly had to say goodbye to our little old man three weeks ago at the age of 15, but his quality of life the past year was definitely better because of Dr James and when the time came to say goodbye, she helped us make the right decision and her staff was so caring and supportive. It is still too soon to even begin to think about another dog but when/if we do - we will definitely use Dr James as our vet“

12727 Mountain Air, San Antonio“I brought my cat here after taking him to an emergency vet on the advice of an office admin here.
They were incredibly professional and kind throughout my entire time interacting with the staff.
Unfortunately my cat did not survive his illness and I cannot overstate how nice and accommodating the staff was. Dr. Powers in particular I remember but the vet technicians were also very nice to me and my cat.
I know they did everything they could and I would recommend this office to any pet owner.“
