“Crystal was absolutely wonderful with my two German Shepherd mixes! One of my dogs can become very anxious in unfamiliar settings & Crystal took the time to earn her trust and make the experience as stress-free as possible.

From the very beginning, she was professional, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable about working with nervous and challenging dogs. I appreciated that she listened to my concerns and approached the appointment with patience rather than rushing the process. She also had excellent communication through the entire process which I appreciated so very much.

Both dogs looked and smelled amazing afterward. Their coats were beautifully cleaned up, their paw trims and sanitary trims were done with care, and the de-shedding made a huge difference.

If you have a dog that is anxious, fearful, or difficult to groom, I highly recommend Crystal. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with and goes above and beyond to create a positive experience for both pets and owners.

She made us feel comfortable right away, and because of the excellent service, I decided to treat my dog to the spa bath package too. When I picked her up, she looked so nice, clean, and fresh! “I’ve been going to Dominion Crossing since 2019, originally with my family’s dogs Bentley and Porter, and now with my own 4 fur babies (Atlas, Ruby, Crow, & Umber). I’m a huge animal lover and try to be really well versed in veterinary care so that my pets get the best care possible. Dr. Shaw and the whole team have been nothing but the absolute best to work with and have helped with Atlas’ many a problem. He has had three surgeries (neuter, lump removal, cancer removal), multiple biopsies, a multitude of issues with a cough, and finally excessive itchiness that needed intervention. The other three animals miraculously have no issues 🫠. They have helped us through each problem and been very informative of different treatment options and very transparent with pricing. They’ve also been so helpful dealing with our pet insurance! I’m breathing fine now because less than 24 hours after his first Cytopoint injection and he is itch free 🥺❤🐾 thank you!!“

“This is a great place staffed by a caring animal lovers. The space itself is large, open and bright. The receptionists are friendly and accommodating. The doctor who saw my cat was so knowledgeable and gave me and my cat her undivided attention. One veterinarian I saw before her appeared to be in a hurry. He was not personable, gave me a quick hello, looked at my cat's lip and was gone. His attendants took care of the rest. I didn't even get to meet one vet in South S.A.. Never even saw her! I went home to wait, my cat was trapped in his carrier for 4 hours and then she called me on the phone and explained to me what was wrong. I had a hard time understanding her since she had a rather pronounced accent. She said I could come and pick up my cat, which I did. I paid the bill and the receptionist handed over my cat. Towne North doesn't operate this way. They truly care about animals' well-being and comfort as well as the owner's satisfaction. I highly recommend them.“

“Most personable and knowledgeable staff in a veterinarian office that I've ever been to. Took our 8-year-old yellow Labrador retriever who was having numerous issues. Swollen bloody gums, runny eyes, and a sore shoulder on her right leg. The veterinarian, (Steven Rapp) thoroughly examined her see if he could get her fit again and out of pain. He gave us some aggressive steroids and antibiotics and told us to come back in 2 weeks. We will see what the outcome is then but I'm giving it a five-star rating now just based on how knowledgeable and friendly the whole staff is and how clean and spotless examining rooms are“

“I have used Good Dog for years. For short/long overnight stays and for daycare. They are the only place in town that I will trust with my dog. Their prices are reasonable and I like that each dog gets their own little area for overnight stays. The staff are always friendly and do a great job remembering the little things with my dog and sending me photo updates when she is boarded!“

“Dr. Shannon is the best veterinarian we have ever had. We have a whole zoo at our house, and we trust her with each of our furry family members.
We’ve had our pets go through highs and true lows, and each time we’ve been more than comfortable with their care in Dr. Shannon’s hands. You can tell she loves what she does as well as each of her patients. She goes above and beyond, will literally get on the floor with your pet to make them comfortable, and has kind and patient energy.
We hope we’re able to continue care with her as long as we live in San Antonio. :)“

“Much much better experience than a couple of years ago. My dog had a bad experience, but there was also a different crew at the time. I’m not sure what had happened. Fast forward to June 2026, and Hannah, Alyson, Lizeth, Bee, & Chasity were willing to work with my little dog, Trip, who needed some TLC to make this a good experience for him and they did just that. The ladies said to give them a chance to work with Trip to make his stay comfortable, I took them at their word, and they exceeded expectations!!! Aly was very reassuring and I appreciate the email updates and photos from Lizeth and the other ladies to set my mind at ease. These ladies were so wonderful with him. When it was time for pickup, I don’t think Trip wanted to leave, lol. I now highly recommend NSAC for boarding and hopefully that will remain. As long as these lovely ladies are here, I will bring Trip back.“
