“We have taken our dogs and cats to Dominion Crossing Veterinary Hospital since moving to San Antonio 2 1/2 years ago. Dr. Shaw is the best veterinarian we have every had since becoming pet owners 30+ yrs ago!!!! She is extremely competent, gentle with the pets, courteous with her clients spending time answering questions and providing recommendations, and very practical when it comes to providing recommendations for tests, treatments or procedures. She doesn't try to pressure into spending extra money on things that don't benefit your pet. Their costs are also very competitive with what we have experienced at other veterinary clinics/hospitals. We recently had our 14 1/2 yr old boarder collie go through a phase of declining health and his ultimate passing and Dr. Shaw and her staff were so kind, compassionate, and practical throughout the entire process. While it was a difficult journey, we always felt so comfortable with the treatments and comfort that they provided on this long and difficult journey. Dr. Shaw is truly awesome and we highly recommend Dominion Crossing Veterinary Hospital for your pets!!!!!!!!!!“

From the initial call, to allowing us to come in multiple times per week for “friendly visits”, to all the staff being so absolutely kind and even Dr. Hall coming into the room during a friendly visit to just say hi to our little guy! His first real visit went great because this team prepped him so well.The reception team is outstandingggg with their customer service and are on top of getting you in and out. The vet techs have been super helpful and I love that they offer a monthly program to spread out your costs vs paying at each appt. Pricing has been very competitive and everyone has been upfront about fees etc.Andrea has been such a blessing as a groomer and working slowly with our pup to get him use to everything so he’s comfortable. “Staff and doctors are very caring. Had a cancerous growth removed on my dog and since the area was so small the doctor didn’t use external sutures purposely knowing that vet visits are a stressor for my dog. I greatly appreciated this as my dog does not get along with most other dogs so vet trips can be tricky with him.“
