“Dr. Hicks has been taking care of Ginger since she was rescued by Doodle Dandy Rescue in January 2023. Within a few days of adopting Ginger in April 2023 she was due a couple of vaccinations. We decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Hicks since she was already familiar with her history which included anxiety. During that visit we saw how gentle, kind and loving Dr. Hicks was with Ginger and Ginger’s comfort with her and immediately knew we would continue to trust her taking care of our sweet girl going forward. Although BPAH is not close to us, it is well worth the drive to know Dr. Hicks and the entire BPAH team love their patients and provide the best care possible!“

“Scott really knows what he’s talking about. He helped me understand my dog’s fears and anxieties. He provided a lot of information and exercises on how to help my dog. I see the improvements with my dog already. Scott really took the time to understand what issues I was having with my dog and came up with a custom plan. He does a great job with teaching the owner. I had a fantastic experience with Scott. I was afraid that my dog would always be fearful as nothing I did myself worked, but Scott was able to provide me with the education and tools to help my dog. I would definitely recommend him.“

Later Nikki called me when to pick up my dog and she was wonderful too because my phone kept dropping the call and she suggested we text and it worked out great. The next day I called the vet to ask about dog food and Kelsey was very helpful on the phone and when I went to pick up some food. Very nice people!! Dr. Shiplov was very good also.“

“I took my puppy in for a free evaluation & Teresa felt he was pretty well behaved & didn’t need additional training.She spent almost an hour with us (at no charge) & gave us many tips what we could do to help him with chewing and his separation anxiety. After 4 weeks he’s a new dog. He is now much calmer & his chewing is almost gone. I would highly recommend sit means sit & get the dog you want.“

Amazing staff and the cage-less format is so fun for our social & playful pups. Abbie’s has worked with us during life events and family emergencies, they consistently keep us updated with daily pics when we’re traveling, and (most importantly) they adore our pups (and our pups love them). “I have been a client at this location of MetroPaws for over 10 years, with the primary reasons being the excellence in medical care for our family pets, however, in my last visit the excellence in client care was also proven to be beyond anyone's expectation. Our highly fearful dog became lose in the parking area, zig-zagging across and up and down Skillman for approximately 15 minutes until he was caught. Without the help from clinic personnel, I fear what could have happened. I want to highlight Vanessa who brought out treats and an extra leash and, of course, Dr., Deresz who is brilliant! There is no better vet clinic for anyone's animal -“
