I was having difficulty with my eyeglass prescription from nine months ago, so I went searching for a local Optometrist who also works with individuals who have dry eye syndrome. I made an appointment with Dr. McPherson at Eyes on Westlake because of her five star rating. Oh goodness, were those ratings spot on. Dr. McPherson and her entire staff are wonderful. Every staff member (with a special shout out to Diana, Karina, and Isabelle) I encountered exceeded my expectations. The moment my husband and I walked through the door we were made to feel like family. Dr. McPherson gave me a very thorough eye exam, explained every aspect of the exam, and took all the time that I needed to answer every question I had. Never once did I feel rushed throughout the process. After my exam, Karina helped me select new eyeglass frames. She was excellent. It was like shopping with a friend who gives you honest advice while trying on frames. As a result, I love my new eyeglasses which are helping me see much better and look great. Dr. McPherson is currently treating me for dry eye syndrome and I am so happy that she has come to Westlake to practice. She is an outstanding Therapeutic Optometrist and her staff is stellar.”

“Oh man, I was writing a detailed review and somehow lost it! I don't have time to redo it right now, so I will condense it. First, I'm very happy with Dr. Alisha and Pack Optical. Even the office is nice, with older optical items that are interesting to see, and western influence decor. The staff are friendly and efficient as well. Dr. Alisha is, in a word, amazing! She offers a great eye exam, but that's just the beginning. Briefly, she found I have glaucoma early and sent me to a specialist. She was helping me with a dry eye issue when I noticed my glasses needed changing way too soon. This led to discovering cataracts that were growing. After cataract surgery she was my follow-up care doctor. The dry eye issue became worse, which isn't really unusual, but not to the extent that mine was. Thinking it could be more than the eye's oil glands, she sent me to another doctor who had more options available to help. Those treatments ARE helping a lot, so now Dr. Alisha is concentrating on helping the oil glands to function better again. Through all of this, she has been incredibly kind, patient, caring, informative and professional, as well as personable. After I mentioned in passing at one exam that my glasses were larger and more noticeable than I expected, she offered to change them at no charge.Though very kind of her I decided to see if my vision might change again from the initial after-cataract surgery eye test, due to the dry eye treatments. Then at my exam yesterday, SHE brought up the glasses to me, so she's definitely not as concerned about money as she is about her patients! So all in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Alisha at Pack Optical!! One thing though, they are closed on Fridays. Ask me how I know, lol.”

“The first time I came to Same Day Glasses was 2 years ago, after 11 years my old faithful glasses broke in half. It was too expensive to order from my eye dr, and Silhouettes doesn’t carry my lens shape anymore, so I figured I’d give SDG a try, and see if they can create the lens shape I liked to a new frame and prescription.<br><br>Andy was amazing, he had the Silhouettes frames in store and was able to cut the lenses that I wanted for them. He also fixed my old glasses so I can have an extra pair. He did all this in 2 hours, and it cost me significantly less than what the eye dr was quoting me.<br><br>Fast forward to this week, I needed new lenses for my son’s glasses, the dr was again wanting to charge me an astronomical amount just to change them. I decided if I am spending this much money on lenses, I’ll come support this business. Andy was able to do the lenses at half the cost, and half the time. 100/10 recommend and will definitely come back.<br><br>On a side note, you can use your HSA/ FSA and submit the receipt for reimbursement from insurance.<br><br>Update June 2026- They have indestructible kids glasses! I got so fed up with my son breaking his name brand glasses every couple months and went in search for indestructible kids glasses. I checked out my favorite glasses shop and was excited to discover that they carried some in store. They are stylish, truly indestructible and Andy had my son’s new lenses in them with 30 minutes.<br><br>I continue to be blown away SDG and the staff. Thank you again!”
