“The first time I came to Same Day Glasses was 2 years ago, after 11 years my old faithful glasses broke in half. It was too expensive to order from my eye dr, and Silhouettes doesn’t carry my lens shape anymore, so I figured I’d give SDG a try, and see if they can create the lens shape I liked to a new frame and prescription.

Andy was amazing, he had the Silhouettes frames in store and was able to cut the lenses that I wanted for them. He also fixed my old glasses so I can have an extra pair. He did all this in 2 hours, and it cost me significantly less than what the eye dr was quoting me.

Fast forward to this week, I needed new lenses for my son’s glasses, the dr was again wanting to charge me an astronomical amount just to change them. I decided if I am spending this much money on lenses, I’ll come support this business. Andy was able to do the lenses at half the cost, and half the time. 100/10 recommend and will definitely come back.

On a side note, you can use your HSA/ FSA and submit the receipt for reimbursement from insurance.

Update June 2026- They have indestructible kids glasses! I got so fed up with my son breaking his name brand glasses every couple months and went in search for indestructible kids glasses. I checked out my favorite glasses shop and was excited to discover that they carried some in store. They are stylish, truly indestructible and Andy had my son’s new lenses in them with 30 minutes.
