I’ve used 3 training services in Austin and this is by far the best! Instead of telling you how the others missed the mark, I’ll focus on what makes DTE the best.
First off, they took the time to listen to me on my goals and timeline. Then they came to my house the next day for an assessment to see if and when the goals could be met. They catered a plan and walked me through what to expect. They paired me with a trainer who not only met my expectations, but exceeded them. But the most important part, they care out my dog and circumstantial needs. They check in and follow up.
The progress has been almost immediate. We’re 3 sessions in and I feel like a have a dog who is finally achieving what I always dreamed!
Know this requires the handler (you) to take the time to learn the commands and practice discipline. But my dog loves the training and gets excited each time me start. Mike has been incredible to work with and the bond he’s helping me build is simply amazing.
You will not be disappointed! I’ve already personally sent 3 of my pups dog friends to DTE because they were so impressed with the accomplishments. Look no further, go with DTE!

Reviews
My Bernadoodle Toula and I began a journey with Donny @ Dog Training Elite when she was 4 months old. With Donny’s patience and expertise he guided my puppy and I to become a confident team and he brought out the best in us! He really did! I thought I had taken on way too much with this energetic little puppy but we have become a team & I couldn’t be happier!
Group classes have helped us grow being out in public with all its distractions, walking around other pets and not fearing the unexpected because I am in control.
I had a former dog that bit and I was truly afraid but I have become a confident pet owner and with this training not only for my Toula but also for myself. This was money that has been well spent and a valuable experience for my relationship with my dog 🐶. I’m not anxious or afraid to have her with me in public or at home. I’m so very glad I’ve chosen DTE!! I 2000% recommend this training program!!
We worked with Michael to train our dog, Auggie. Michael was awesome. You can immediately tell he has experience training dogs. He’s realistic, thoughtful, patient, and diligent. Our dog is not only better trained but he’s a happier dog because of it. Michael was always on time and ready to go. You can tell he’s exceptionally good at training because of his own dog, but he’s also gentle and very loving with the dogs when acceptable. Couldn’t recommend him more!
