“Gosh I'm thinking my original review disappeared. So, Blue Ridge Heating and Air, installed a ductless mini split unit in my mobile home. It was placed in my living room, where a 12yr old unit has been struggling to keep this area under 85 even wide open. They came installed the unit and it was up and running before the lunch hour. There was an issue unrelated to the install but needed to be addressed. They stayed and made sure everything was in working order before leaving that day. They men were professional, polite, kind, and knowledgeable about all the issues at hand. They cleaned everything up and all you knew was we had a new unit, no trash, no boxes , and no mess. “The estimator, Jason, came out. He was knowledgeable, thorough, friendly and took the time to answer any questions of which there were few b/c he covered everything so well. We were having installed a mini-split system in the garage.
A few days later the installers arrived. Vry friendly, explained what they were going to do, and asked where we wanted the system. They (2 guys) then started the install process. They worked steady until they were done; about 6 hours. They then explained how everything worked on this mini system. The garage system is a bit more involved for the user than a full house system. There is a remote with many options - they explained and demonstrated it all - was vry clear.
Good grades for all these folks. A definite recommendation for any heating/air system.“

“The technician recommended that I get a new thermostat and that he had 3 different ones in his truck. They ranged from almost $500 to $800. I told him I just wanted a basic thermostat with no Wi-Fi connections. I told him I had bought one at Lowe’s for around $50 several years ago. So beware of their prices! He agreed that if I had someone to change it that Lowe’s was cheaper. He also tried to sell me an air purifier system and I said I wasn’t interested. He did not pressure me, but since I was a “Senior citizen” I did feel that they were trying to take advantage of me.“

Our first experience with this company was last October (2024).

Our AC went out and we reached out to the builder. The builder highly recommended Pro Heating and Air Conditioning and provided us with their contact information.
we called immediately, spoke with Cody. He informed us that he would be out later that day to evaluate the situation (our pipes had been freezing up and little if any cold air).

Additionally, we explained to Cody that my seven year old grandson has severe and at times, life threatening allergies and the windows had to be kept closed at all times and we were dependent on the AC and air purifiers to help keep him safe with his allergies.

Cody responded that he would be right out. Cody quickly evaluated the situation and found the problem.
He provided us a quote significantly less than what I have paid for similar work on a different home/AC.
We agreed to the work and Cody started right away.
Cody spent several hours working on the repair.

We couldn’t be more thankful for all his help.

This time around, we had a different issue with the AC (totally unrelated to last October’s issue.
Once again Cody responded by coming out to the house, determined that we need a new compressor and stated he located one and would be back in an hour or so with the part to do the repair. After a few hours the house AC was up and running. The folks at Pro AC and Cooling exceeded our expectations in all areas eg pricing, response time and overall quality of work.
We cannot than Cody or Steve enough for there services. Highly recommend this 5++ star company for all your AC or Heating needs.“
