“Don once again saved the day for me, with a quick response and by showing up the next morning to have a look at my furnace, which was starting to make some noise from the blower area. I had others suggesting that the motor or the ball bearings were going, all costly fixes (from listening to a recording of the sound). Don thought it was more of an intake airflow issue, and asked me to try dropping down the air filter MERV rating from the 10 and 12 which I had been using. I went out and bought a MERV 6 rating filter, which is fine for my needs and the condo. The noise went away. A quick visit and solid advice! He has always found time to come by quickly, and assess situations, clearly spelling out a plan and cost, and then does what he says. He never tries to upsell me on anything that is beyond what I need to solve my issue. I have to say, some of the other larger companies have done exactly that. He has helped me with HVAC, Water Heater, and general plumbing in the past, and I have never had any issues or surprises.“

Like many HVAC companies, Reardon was entering a busy holiday weekend and was backed up with emergency calls, with the earliest available appointment being days away. Instead of simply telling me to wait, Chris asked a few questions and, after learning I was handy and comfortable attempting a simple repair myself, took the time to troubleshoot the issue with me over the phone. He helped narrow it down to a failed capacitor, explained exactly what replacement part I needed, and answered my questions along the way.

A quick trip to pick up the part (btw, Chris called the part store in advance to confirm the part availability to save a wasted trip) and a simple swap later, our AC was back up and running the very same day.

That level of customer service is hard to find. Chris and his team could have easily put me on the schedule and left it at that, but instead they took the time to help solve the problem.

“We had an incredible experience with this plumber (Richard?), and I can’t recommend him highly enough. When our hot water accessory tank failed, our usual repair team told us it would be three weeks before they could fit us in. With a family of six, that meant no hot showers, no dishwasher, and no warm water for laundry—such a bummer.

This plumber responded quickly and told us he'd come after finishing another job in the morning. That job ended up taking him all day, and when he arrived at our house at 5 PM, I fully expected him to say he'd have to come back another time.
