The owner, staff, trainers and members have welcomed me with open arms and helped me out so much. Matt (owner) is super kind and cool and made my first days feel like I had been there for years. Dylan (trainer) has helped me get back to the basics of bodybuilding and Larry (housekeeping) zooms around making sure the place is nice and clean. “I have been a member of the Q family for years, and can say that, by far, it is the best gym I have had the pleasure of attending. The team at Q are extremely helpful.
The gym is small, but packed with every style and type of equipment you could need. I never found myself frustrated or unable to do an exercise because there wasn’t the right equipment available. On the contrary, there is so many machines and equipment, I sometimes found myself thinking “What does this thing do🤔”. I was always able to adjust my workouts every few months to include new workouts to avoid burnout.
With all that being said, I want to highlight that there is still plenty of space to move. I always had room to stretch, do calisthenics, or hit the heavy bag, without running into machines or other gym goers.
By far, the thing I want to highlight the most, is the value you get for the price point. For a comparable price to much larger gyms, that are often packed with people and you have to go to war for a chance to use a bench, Q most hours becomes your own personal gym. I often found myself in there around 7 to 9 PM. Completely alone, able to work out at my pace, no issues of sharing machines, and playing my favorite songs on the radio they provide.
Overall, I will, and have, recommended Q to all my friends and family in the area. And if your reading this, I definitely recommend it to you as well!“

As well the weekend hours suck. I thought Planet Fitness was all about 24/7 not 24/5. I started going to the PF in Christiana as they have brand new equipment and are open 24/7.“

Isaac helped me structure my workouts to address my fitness goals. His workouts are tough, pushing me just enough and always focusing on form and technique. He continues to evolve the workouts for me and discusses progress and ideas. On days that I work out on my own, I hear his voice in my head - like a checklist for my form:) I’m doing exercises now that I never thought I would be doing on my own in the gym. My strength has definitely increased and my clothes are fitting a lot better. I highly recommend Isaac as a personal trainer!“

“Cleanliness is something I notice a lot, and this place mostly does well. Floors are usually wiped in the morning and again in the evening. Washrooms are okay but could use more frequent checking during busy hours. Sanitizer is placed near each section, which I appreciate. I go after work and rarely find machines sweaty or left messy, which says a lot about both staff and users.“
