Marie has been my hair stylist since the early 90's. She has done hundreds of complicated, geometric cuts on my difficult, straight, fine hair and every one of them has been done to perfection. Few could do what she does. She is a talented artist. Plus, I've received other services from Paradigm over the years and I can honestly say that this is a lovely place, with lovely people who are always caring and professional. I’ve been going to Shear Creations for several years now and my experience has always been good! I even moved almost an hour away, but this salon is still my go to! The staff there is always friendly and upbeat and the salon is always clean! I leave there with the look I asked for and feeling great.
A friend recommended Jenny after I had gotten really bad, orange highlights all over my dark brown hair. Jenny listened to what I wanted and was confident she could take out the orange, return my hair to brown then add golden highlights. It seemed like a large task because there was so much orange. I saw many foils and such concentration during my visit but felt confident she knew what she was doing. It was great chatting with her and her taking whatever time was needed for this project. When she dried my hair I was in awe. I didn't think it could look that good. It was even better than pictures I'd shown her and it looked natural and fit my face/skin color. I'm so pleased with the results. She is truly an expert when it comes to color.

I’ve been seeing Liza, the owner of the salon, for over 20 years. Even for the decade I was living on the east coast I would include a color session with her with every trip home to Portland. I’ve tried other high end salons in Boston and New York, and no one does color and cut like Liza. She is a true artist and will not compromise on your hair. Be prepared for long thorough appointments, she does not skip steps with the color process, and ensures your hair will look it’s best. She is a skilled professional with a passion for her profession. She is the best colorist I’ve ever seen.

My son is 13 and decided to shave his head. We went in not knowing who’d we get as a barber and we got Miguel at the LO store. My son LOVED him!!!! He knew all the hip verbiage, even did a “fade” on the side of the buzz for my son. Haha. It’s not easy to impress a teenager but Miguel sure did!!

Interesting mix of 1 and 5 stars on here... Looks like they've gotten a bit hit or miss. Gene cut my hair a bunch of times, a number of years ago before I moved to Los Angeles and he always did a great job. He seemed to have an infinite amount of energy...like he could to 100 haircuts and never get tired. There was also a guy in there who cut my hair a few other times, Jason. Not sure if either is still around...in my experience, hairdressers float around between shops/salons. In my younger years, I remember our family followed one around between - count 'em - FIVE different salons. Maybe a sixth! And the others we had, likewise, although between maybe 2-3. Somehow though, we never stayed with them for all that many years. Anyhow, looks like this Lake Grove Barber Shop is still going as strong as ever!! I'd have kept going there if I'd stayed in Portland.

This was my first visit to Le Plaza Nails & Spa. I was greeted warmly and made to feel comfortable. There are plenty of massage chairs with the bowls for feet soaking. There are comfortable chairs and tables for closeup nail work. On a warm Lake Oswego day, the salon was very comfortable and soothing. There are so many dip color choices and gel types. There are more types of colors and how to apply them to your fingers and toes than I can mention! Regardless of my color preference I prefer dip fingernail colors and gel for my toes. The application was great. And that’s so important. The foot bowl, and nail tools were very clean. The entire salon was very tidy.

I’m very picky about where I get my nails done. This place is CLEAN, like, operating room clean! And there are no fumes. It’s easy to book online, and I got a great gel mani. They offer a large selection of gel colors, so come with a color in mind. Lynh did an amazing job and I’m so happy with my nails!

I'm leaving a 5 star rating because Debaj deserves 5 stars. I've gone to The Lash Lounge twice, both times I had a full facial threading, brow tint, and lash lift and tint with Debaj. I was thrilled with the results the first time, but there were a few things I wished she had done differently with my brows (just a matter of preference and it was due to a lack of communication on my end). So the second time, I told her about the little things I wanted her to do differently. She was so kind and patient and totally heard me. She executed my vision PERFECTLY, and my brows turned out exactly how I wanted them. And just like the first time, my face and lashes looked amazing. She is great and I'd highly recommend going to her. If you can communicate what you want, she'll make it happen for you. The lash lounge itself would get 4 stars from me. It's pretty expensive, and it's not a super welcoming or calming atmosphere. I shouldn't have known that another customer's card declined with how far away I was sitting. A lowered tone could go a long way.

Based on the other reviews you could say I took a risk and I’m glad I did. I hired Mark last October to do an easy modification. It is clear when communicating with him that he has a full schedule. And I’m ok with that and it’s something you have to understand and respect. I’m not sure the other reviewers understand that.
The job he did in October went well and I hired him again recently for another small job. He did everything he could to service me just hours before catching a flight to go on vacation. This was after he finished up a job at an apartment complex that had 30 units without water. That goes along way with me and I’ll be calling on him again.

Very responsive. Sent an email at 8pm and next morning had an email response at 7am. Called and scheduled for them to come out and repair our broken sprinkler valve the NEXT MORNING. He showed up was very nice and fixed our broken sprinkler valve. He showed us what the problem was and was very kind. Would 100 recommend to anyone.

Used Jerry and his team last summer to fix and replace some sprinklers that were “removed” by my deck contractor. This contractor recommended Jerry to get my irrigation system up and working again.Jerry came and gave me a detailed quote for the work he would be doing. Along with the replacement of sprinklers, he fixed a zone that was not working and added some sprinklers to correct some coverage issues. His tech came out on the day he promised and on time. He took his time to do the job right.What prompted me to write the review was the follow-up provided today. I took my sprinkler out of hibernation and one zone would not turn off. Called Jerry and he talked me through finding the defective valve and troubleshooting it. It was still stuck on. I knew he was busy but he stopped by because he was close by with another client. He found the issue immediately, fixed it, and didn’t charge me (and didn’t criticize me for probably causing the issue).Just a word about scheduling. Jerry is awfully busy with customers so we waited I believe four weeks before he could get his technician out—but we’re happy we waited due to the professionalism before, during, and after the job.

I just had Monkeyman out to remove deal branches from a huge cedar tree. The entire crew was friendly and super knowledgable. They don't just know trees, they know the microbiology of soils. They did a good job and their cleanup was impeccable. 5 stars!

I cannot recommend this practice enough. I’ve been to many dentists over the years and it’s been just “fine” and I go on my way. This place is truly different. I was referred here by family and friends and I wish I had done it sooner. Their front office is organized, responsive and amazing, including running insurance estimates up front and providing transparent and clear billing and patient payment expectations. Their patient intake forms and technology makes everything convenient and online. Dr. Azimi and her entire staff are compassionate, caring, will always take the time to listen and explain things every step of the way. I came in for multiple issues on top of establishing care with a new provider and have been so impressed with the way this practice runs, how friendly and professional they are and the level of patient attention.
The Lake Oswego Dental Centre has the best service hands down compared to any other dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Hadi Nouredine provided me with the upmost comfort and care, and made my comfortability his main concern, as I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental work. Not only did the Dr do this, but his assistants were also very attentive and made sure all my needs were met and taken care of. The front desk staff was very personable and did a lot to ease my fear of coming in for my appointment. Overall, this office has amazing service from the second you walk in the door!
I have finally found a dentist that allows me to look forward to my dental appointments! After a series of unpleasant, and even damaging, dental experiences in Oregon I was lucky enough to be referred to Lake Oswego Family Dentistry. Here you will find highly trained, thorough and up-to-date professionals who understand and anticipate every facet of each patient's needs. I was beginning to despair of finding a dentist with whom I could have a interactive relationship and whom I could trust. I love going to see Dr. Laird and her staff. I trust them to handle all my needs: cleaning, prevention, care and insurance. Everyone is delightful and kind. They understand my fears and work with me to make everything easy. There are no gimmicks and no fluff-- just caring, competence and communication! I joke with them each time I go that they need to add primary care, gynecology and dermatology and my life would complete. I love this place!
I found the services here to be professional and top notch. The experiential wisdom that Devasto has come with has improved the chiropractic services and my personal experience of the work. I love the personal and friendly communication and find this to be a beautiful practice. I also enjoyed his avant-garde approach to upper back adjustments.
Dr. Madeiros is amazing! I mean, he does practice witchcraft, but in the best way. He has treated me for nerve issues and back issues and circulation issues and I have had incredible results. Neil’s staff is amazing as are his in-house partners massage therapists.
Dr. Coats is just an all-around gem. He's efficient yet thorough. Extremely empathetic and supportive; he's helped me immensely (emotionally and physically) after a pretty bad car crash and it's only been two sessions.

Another year, another perfect checkup. ACGLO is hands down, the best vet in the entire metro area. I used to live right down the street, which was super convenient. But even after moving last year, I still drive back over to LO for every visit. They are worth the drive. Highly, highly recommend.
Cat Care Professionals really is the best clinic we've ever been to. We did not know that Cat Only clinics were even a thing and we can't say enough great things about it. When our cat, Angel, passed away a few years ago, they were so supportive, kind, and loving. The front desk is always courteous, they are quick communicators, and Dr Ellingsen always takes the time to respond to us directly via email whenever our other two cats have blood work, or we have questions. SO HAPPY!

My 27 year old umbrella cockatoo, Bibi, started showing a lack of appetite one day, so I immediately made an appointment with AMC for the next day. By the end of the day though, she just plummeted and I ended up having to take her to Dovelewis. They kept her alive long enough to make her appointment with AVM, but beyond that it was a horrible experience. The vet there was curt, evasive, and uncompassionate.
When I brought Bibi in on Tuesday, Dr. Schwarzer gathered our information attentively and compassionately, and went over exactly what he was going to do for Bibi. Throughout our conversation, I felt assured that he actually cared about Bibi's outcome as much as I did.
We'd planned on a 4 day hospitalization, but that turned into 14 days as she had already developed secondary heart and lung congestion and further complications. Dr. Schwarzer and Dr. Litner updated me daily as to her progress, showing patience and kindness with all my questions through such a difficult and uncertain time.
In working with the two doctors, I can see that they both love birds immensely, and treat each patient with the utmost care and concern. Even when the prognosis wasn't certain, I still felt that Bibi was in the most capable and caring hands on earth.
I had a few interactions with the techs and can also see that they really care about what they do. Austin, at the front desk, was my first (and most regular) point of contact and was extremely kind and helpful throughout. I am just amazed at what a stellar team this is.
Also, and this is a major consideration for most people, I found the price for services to be extremely reasonable. Birds are not cheap, and bird vet bills are not cheap. But you can tell they are in this for the birds, it's not a cash grab like Dovelewis. They care about providing accessible care for your beloved birb.
Avian Medical Center has proven to be the absolute best option for bird care, I trust them 1000% with my bird's life.
They did an amazing job on our first visit with our Bernese Mountain Dog.
He is a very vocal dog, they knew exactly how to deal with him and did it well.
My parents have been taking their 10-year-old BMD to them ever since moving back here over two years ago. The only regret I have is not going to them sooner.

Our family has been going to Compass Veterinary Clinic and seeing Dr. Connolly for years. She is consistently compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable, and obviously very experienced. She takes time to explain things and is never rushed with us. I’m so grateful to have such a wonderful Veterinary Clinic in our area. The vet techs there are also so good with our family of animals, including our kitty as well as our giant Saint Bernard.

I adopted a kitty with an extremely disfiguring fractured jaw, and was referred to Dr Otten. I can't say enough nice things about Oregon Veterinary Dental Specialists! From the first phone call through to picking up my cat, Don, everything went smoothly. It was a challenging surgery but never once did I doubt Dr Otten's ability and expertise. They kept me posted just as they said they would and took the time to explain everything going on. Bree and Melissa (front desk and business office) were kind and patient with me as I am an anxious cat mom! Dr Otten went over the cat scan results and explained the procedure thoroughly to me. They helped arrange overnight stays at the local Emergency Hospital for Don, as the surgery was a two day affair and they recognized I had a long drive back and forth from Eugene. Dr Otten basically saved my cat's life so that he could live a long and happy life. They went above and beyond what I would expect a veterinary office to do. I will be forever grateful for the care we received, both personally and professionally. To everyone who helped Don.... thanks from the bottom of my heart

Our 7 month old red standard poodle Mario had his first grooming ever last Saturday. Nataliya at Joyful Pet Grooming transform Mario into a super star look (See first picture for before and after look). We couldn’t believe our eyes how stunningly looking he become, much like something that belongs to a LV shop: the styling, the fined detail, the color… Nataliya is the best groomer in town, especially For show quality poodles grooming. The shop is specious, clean, and with a single trimming station. You or your day won’t be crowded with other people or pets. It is located on the first floor of a high end neighborhood’s shopping plaza, tucked in the green space away from noisy traffic. Quite and peaceful. The price is very reasonable for the high quality. Above all, Nataliya is super friendly to customers and your pets.
I’ve been taking my Samoyed here for years, Myra is great and super nice , and I always request only she sees Cosmo. But there is another girl at this location that NEVER smiles and always looks angry, with awful attitude. I’ve been at this location many many times and each time I smile at her and say hi and she just looks at me angrily. This is such an awful look for this business , and I’m actually afraid of her touching Cosmo. Very rude and unnecessary attitude. I’m only giving a 4 star because of Myra, the other girl would get less than 0.

I love this yoga studio. When I first started going to classes here, the teachers made a point of greeting me by name and making me feel welcome. They really strive to foster a sense of community here. I also appreciate that each and every teacher meets each student where they are at. I look forward to each class here, and always leave feeling better than when I came in.

Soma message is such a healing place. I first started coming in after a pretty traumatic birth and then NICU experience. My body needed so much healing. I had already done PT and I still felt off. I had a really hard time focusing on simple tasks and my body was always on edge. A friend recommended I see Daniel for cranial sacral therapy.
I started working with him in January and have had serval cranial sacral sessions now. I instantly noticed a difference in my body and mind after one session. I felt the tension in my face released and my mind could actually focus on everyday tasks. I was able to organize and clean for the first time on my own. When you’ve been in a state of fight or flight for 6months like I had been this was huge for me.
I continued to come back and see Daniel. Each time he helped me get another piece of myself back. After my last session I was pleasantly surprised that even my sex life had improved. It was easier to have an orgasm because everything was flowing easier and I felt relaxed again. I recommend Daniel to everyone he is so kind, respectful, and nurturing. You won’t regret working with him.
I am 35 weeks pregnant and definitely feeling more muscle aches in my body than I can ever remember having even as an athlete. I received a massage from Dede yesterday afternoon and feel like a completely different person. She was so good at listening to exactly where my sore body parts were and making sure she spent extra time working it all out. I cannot imagine having a better massage and am so thankful to have Dede close by to go back to in the future. I am already looking forward to my next massage and would highly recommend her to anyone I know!

I have been a client of Lake Grove for over 8 years. I've had great therapists with different styles and pressure. I frequently see Lola who is has gotten my tight shoulders from a 11 out of 10 in terms of how tense they are maybe a 8 which I call a win .

I can’t speak highly enough about my body wrap treatment from Emiley! My 90 minute session was nothing short of luxurious - including dry brushing and moisturizing, body wrap, cupping and an incredible massage. I’m a long time client of Emiley’s but this was my first time doing dry brushing and body wrap treatment. As always, Emiley is professional, personable and brings a peaceful and calming energy to her sessions. I felt so relaxed during the entire treatment and could tell the body wrap helped loosen up my muscles, which made for an even better massage. The dry brushing made my skin feel noticeably smoother and polished. I will definitely be getting this treatment again and would highly recommend booking an appointment with Emiley to experience it for yourself!
I've had maybe 30 massages over the years, but this was my first visit to Chris. From the moment I drove onto his property, he was attentive to my needs. He was there to greet me, immediately easy to talk to, and even showed me around his beautiful property. It had been close to 2 years since my previous massage and I was a mess. We sat down and visited for 5 minutes as he wanted to discuss the treatment and areas I needed him to focus on. He was so thorough, he even noticed I was limping when I first got there and massaged my foot to loosen it up and ease my pain.
Now to the massage. It was nothing short of amazing. He pays so much attention to detail, he didn't miss a single area that was tight or needing treatment. He even found hot spots I didn't even realize were giving me grief. His more than 2 decades of experience is immediately evident and appreciated as soon as he gets to work. His hands are a gift and his work, a masterpiece. Plus, he is wonderful to visit with! He is very personable and puts you at ease with his calming voice. I left his place feeling more relaxed and loose than I've felt in longer than I remember. Chris has definitely won me over as a repeat customer!

I genuinely don't remember the last time I actually enjoyed a massage due to there not being enough pressure for my liking and needs. Enter Courtney and her intuitive feet. I can't say enough good things about Courtney's Ashiatsu massage skills and her business overall. I've been seeing her while recovering from a car accident and experiencing chronic neck and back pain. I feel very safe going to Courtney during COVID - you don't have to interact with or be exposed to anyone else in the building and Courtney is great about sanitizing and maintaining distance before and after the massage. The room is clean and she takes the time to set up a very relaxing environment. She listens to and acts on your needs, areas of pain, and pressure preferences. It's so nice to feel heard, listened to, and cared about. I also appreciate that she ends with massaging the neck area to help relieve tension that has built up from a hard massage of the rest of my body. If you are someone who likes deep pressure, I definitely recommend Courtney's Ashiatsu massage.

Absolutely amazing. Antwon is basically a god. I went in with sciatic nerve pain that took 3 months for physical therapy to fix last time and he fixed it overnight. Insanely recommended.
Sasha is an amazing accupuncturist! I started seeing her a couple of months ago for a hip and shoulder injury and she has been so helpful in healing both. She is super knowledgeable about what will help my injuries and I always leave feeling so much better than when I came in!

Dr. Chen is an exceptional health care provider. She is compassionate, caring, and gifted with an intuitive and educated understanding of the sources of pain and the causes of physical limitations while also possessing the training, knowledge and skill required to heal the pain.
I will forever be grateful to her for helping me regain mobility after an injury that other health providers informed me could not be resolved without surgery. Dr. Chen taught me how to supplement her skilled care with specific exercises that expedited my healing and mobility, allowing me to resume hiking and traveling.

I have been suffering from back pain related to a sports injury. This created a lot of muscle tension and stiffness on a daily basis.
Amarkaur pointed out that I had hip misalignment and took her time to pinpoint where the pain was by manually pressing into my muscles for feedback. I did notice mild immediate relief, but the following morning was a night and day difference. I had much more mobility and was able to walk in significantly less pain.
I highly recommend Amarkaur. I had never seen an acupuncturist before and was hesitant. I am very glad that I did. I have now seen her for two visits and will continue regularly as part of my healing process.
Karly is a miracle worker! She is kind, caring, knowledgeable, and takes time to listen so she can perfectly tailor treatment for maximum effect. I was suffering from labyrinthitis for almost 4 months and at my wits end. Admittedly I was slowly recovering but after two visits with Karly I was back to normal and so happy. I highly recommend acupuncture with Karly!
