A Breath of Fresh Air turned a stressful HVAC situation into one of the best contractor experiences I’ve had.
After Atemp came to clean my air conditioner, they inspected my furnace without my requesting it, declared it unsafe, and red-tagged it—shutting it off. Because the furnace had been running for years without any apparent problems, I called A Breath of Fresh Air for a second opinion.
Happy Valley Moms overwhelmingly recommended A Breath of Fresh Air. Daniel came out, performed thorough testing, and carefully explained what they found. They determined that the supposed danger was minimal, if present at all, and pointed out some of the parts the other company had used said were defect weren't actually in existance. The whole experience with the first company had felt suspicious, so Daniel’s straightforward and knowledgeable approach was a huge relief.
When I decided to replace the system, A Breath of Fresh Air’s quote was half what Atemp quoted. The installation was top-notch. There were some tricky obstacles involving the water heater, but the team worked around them without any fuss. Everything was simple, professional, and reliable.
One of the new unit’s expensive components unfortunately turned out to be defective from the factory. Daniel’s team came back and replaced it completely at no cost to me. On another occasion, I hadn’t properly completed the thermostat’s software setup. They came out, figured out the problem, got me signed in and everything working, and didn’t charge me for that visit either.
A Breath of Fresh Air is an absolutely fantastic company. Daniel does excellent work, stands behind it, and treats his customers wonderfully. I’d happily bring him all my HVAC business and recommend the company without hesitation, especially to anyone looking for honest service without the big-company pricing.
Great group of guys! They definitely had their work cut out for them with my 2022 Ram. I had previously taken it to another shop that claimed to be professional, but unfortunately, they completely botched the detail.
These guys spent three days correcting the other shop’s mistakes and getting my truck looking the way it should. I really appreciate the time, attention to detail, and effort they put into making it right.

She is very knowledgeable about her health and took the time to explain to me the best ways to make the most out of my treatment. Her vibe is also very fun and she’s very easy to talk to. I have a lot of trauma when it comes to my hair and I usually Leave the salon crying, but I left feeling so good about myself, and there were no tears!
I had her do a Brazilian blowout and give me a haircut. It is one of my most favorite haircuts of all time!! The Brazilian blowout turned out amazing, and I have very very curly hair. She really took her time and made sure that everything was perfect. I will definitely be returning for a quarterly treatment

Leslie is AMAZING! Very knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy. I went in for an IPL and then again in 6 weeks for Botox and another IPL. Even after 2 treatments I was still self conscious about a couple problem areas still showing on my face so Leslie had me come back and she fixed it right away. She told me she contacted the owner and they offered to give me the upgrades for free so I would leave there feeling confident. The results are wonderful. I plan on continuing my skincare journey with Revive Beauty and Leslie, knowing they care and want you to feel & look your best.

She still took the time to listen to me and make sure she understood exactly what I wanted for my hair . She made me feel comfortable and welcomed from the moment I arrived .She also made the experience extra special by offering me campagne and a snack while I was there. 🥂❤ This was honestly the best experience I've ever had at a salon. I'm abosolutely in love with the results ,and I also leved Marina 's personality and the way she treated me . You can tell she truly cares about her clients and her Work . Marie is the best! My almost 100 pound golden retriever is afraid of water and we were never able to take him anywhere else for grooming. She is so sweet and patient with him. He always comes back looking and smelling so good!
An awesome store with good prices on plenty of nostalgic toys. They carry some brands and toy lines I hadn't seen or thought about since my childhood growing up on these movies in the late 90s. The employee there was super nice and clearly passionate about the merchandise. I would have been interested in a larger selection of Hot Toys and Lightsabers, but I understand those kinds of things are probably not the easiest for local stores to sell. I love that this place exists so close to my home, and I'll definitely be back!
Also, their prices on Black Series figures were noticeably better than those at Amazon, Gamestop, and Fred Meyer.

We absolutely love Dr. Frank. I was so worried of my daughter seeing a male doctor because she has chronic UTI’s back to back for the past 3 years. We had just moved from a small Mormon farm town in Utah where everything was controlled by rich old white men… there’s not much girls and women’s care there 😅. They haven’t been helping with her infections or symptoms.
But Dr. Frank instantly validated me as a parent to how much effort I’ve been putting to make her feel better and stop this. He prescribed her something that NO other doc or specialist had prescribed in Utah and she’s seen all of them. This prescription finally gave me hope that she’ll be cleared up soon 😭🙏🏻 Dr. Frank is so good with kids making them feel comfortable and cared for. He immediately complimented her Toy Story dress. Dr. Long is amazing too…. But as far as connection AND care, Dr. Frank all the way.

I cannot recommend Kori at Color and Tease Salon enough! I was honestly so nervous trying a new salon and stylist after being with the same person for over 10 years, but now I don’t know why I waited so long. I have truly found an incredibly talented new stylist.
Kori did an amazing color correction on my hair after years of color damage, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. She spent over 7 hours patiently working through the process, checking in with me the whole time, explaining everything she was doing, and educating me about my hair and what it needed. I never once felt rushed or uncomfortable. She was so kind, patient, and genuinely cared about getting my hair healthy and beautiful again.
Not only is Kori amazing at what she does, but the atmosphere at the salon is incredible too. The ladies there create such a fun, welcoming, and cohesive environment that instantly makes you feel comfortable.
I walked out feeling so much more confident and happy with myself. I’m beyond grateful for Kori’s talent, hard work, and care, and I’m already looking forward to my next appointment!

I think this is a hidden gem. It is small and I have only seen 2people that work there. I believe they are the owners. It is not a fancy salon, but it is clean and I have had the best pedicures in the past several years.
This salon really pays attention to detail. The polish application is always perfect, with no smudges or bubbles. My nails look like they belong in a magazine. I can’t stop admiring them.
Beautiful salon, recently remodeled with very comfortable pedicure chairs, great ambience, well- trained and friendly staff. Plus, if you go regularly, they'll send you texts for discounts.
A better pedicure doesn’t exist. Wendy is a master at her craft. Polite, professional, and very skilled in massage. She even helped me fill in a chipped finger nail after the appointment. I will be back again and again! Thank you : )

This nail salon is a mile from my house and has been my go to for over 20 years. The team here is incredibly kind and welcoming to my daughters and I. We come every 2-3 weeks and love our services every time. So thankful for the level of care they give. Pedicures and manicures last a long time and they are willing to make changes and check in if you like how the look is throughout the process. I’m always a happy girl leaving Foxy Nails

I got services done 12/18 it 12/24 and shellac nail polish peeling on one nail. The customer service was great the techs are great and friendly great with first time kids and their curiosity.

Vinny always goes above and beyond when doing my nails. I've been coming here for the last 4 months since moving back to Portland and I've never had a complaints . My mom has been coming to him for over 15+ years. Everyone in the shop is very friendly as soon as you walk in. Not super expensive like other shops thats around.
Hi, I’m one of your regular customers. I think the nail technicians do an amazing job, and everyone provides great nail services. However, I wanted to share some feedback about the receptionist, Zen.
Unfortunately, I haven’t had a positive experience with her customer service. She doesn’t make me feel welcomed, and she often comes across as unfriendly or like she doesn’t enjoy being there. I’ve noticed this both when the salon is busy and when it’s not. It sometimes feels like customer service isn’t a priority.
The rest of the staff are always kind, welcoming, and provide excellent service, which is why this stands out. If the front desk experience were improved, I would easily give the salon 5 stars.
I’ve even had family members who were hesitant to come with me because of their experiences with the receptionist. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I really do enjoy coming to your salon and want to continue supporting your business. Thank you.
Michelle did my nails this evening and did a beautiful job!! Exactly the length and style I wanted. 60 for a full set is not bad to me. They turned out fantastic. The 1 hour noggin treatment was heavenly. Noggin means head, for those are not as familiar with the word. I had a heavenly head (with neck and upper shoulder) massage that started with a hair wash. When making the appointment they were able to customize my treatment to even include some reflexology of the hands and feet too, at my request. Another fabulous thing about the women who work here is that are good listeners and have been responsive to me. I felt super comfortable asking questions on what tools they were using during the treatment and comfortable asking for custom adjustments here and there to make it just right for me.
I had been contemplating getting my brows done for a while, and I am so glad I did! I’m pretty low maintenance, and really wanted to look more put together, but could never really get my brows styled right. Not only did Janis pick out the perfect color, she styled my brows in a way that look both natural and fleek at the same time. She is an expert at what she does, super communicative throughout the whole process, and you’ll be wowed with the result. If you were like me and had been thinking about it for some time, this is your sign to just schedule the appointment. You’ll be in good hands with Janis!

No matter where I live, I'm going to go to Passion Nails for my eyebrows. It is truly a top tier waxing experience and I always leave happy and relaxed. The family who owns this spa is so wonderful. If I could give them a 100/5 I would! I haven't had my nails done since I moved to Oregon, but I'm planning on getting a fresh set in a couple weeks and I'm going here.

The Best Decision I Made for My PMU Career
Typically, I don’t take the time to write reviews, but this one is absolutely deserved. As someone who was already licensed in a different field and had previously gone through cosmetology school, I had a strong understanding of how beauty schools are usually structured, so I took choosing the right PMU program very seriously. Our kitten made a urinary pit stop (or 4) on our leather couch during her litter box training, and Pro-Tech was able to completely remove the odor and much of the stain. They also re-conditioned the whole couch, and the leather looks better than it has in years. I'm super impressed with their service, and would call them again for any deep cleaning job. *Very* reasonable prices and quite friendly and professional. Dr. Russ is one of the best at any Joint location I’ve been to. Very precise, no “over-doing” it. I did sometimes feel neutral or worse after work by other doctors here, so I recommend checking the schedule to make sure he’ll be in.
I’ve had chronic neck pain for years and Dr. Negus fixed me in 5 visits. I couldn’t believe it. He’s my regular doctor now.
I have taking my dogs here for several years, and have nothing but praise for this clinic. They are attentive, helpful, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I trust them with my dogs and trust their guidance. They have never let me or my dogs down, and genuinely care about what’s best for the animal.
I highly recommend the Care Plans as they are really fairly priced and save money. They also make budgeting for their care way easier.
The doctors are friendly and engaged, the vet techs are incredibly understanding and the secretaries are incredibly kind. This clinic cares and when I went in for a fairly routine appointment and found out my cat had a very serious urinary system problem going on, they were incredibly kind and allowed me all the time I needed to process. They gave my multiple options and pathways that fit my budget. 10 out of 10 recommend.
