“When I moved to Hamilton it was important to me to find a reputable and ethical vet. I asked the "So you think you're moving to Hamilton" Facebook Group for recommendations of good vet clinics that have a "no declawing" policy. I think there was about 20+ recreations for VCA Canada Kingsway in response to my question. I've been bringing my two cats here for nearly two years now. The entire staff and all the doctors have been great at communicating and facilitating the best treatment plans and finding cost savings where possible - always doing and recommending what is best for my fur babies.Furthermore because they are a VCA Canada clinic, they have a lot of good technological resources to add a layer of convenience - such as the myVCA app, and quick fast electronic payment options. They always instantly send you detailed treatment plans to help you make informed decisions, both the staff and the doctors are very quick to follow up with text messages and phone calls.I have complete trust in them and highly recommend this clinic.“
“We’ve spent a lot of time here since the summer. All throughout the team has been so kind and compassionate to myself and my babies(mainly Gremlin). I can’t recommend Dr. Elzaabalawy enough, she discovered my dog had cancer and helped me with the referral/transferring to an oncologist. She made sure I knew all my options and acted quickly. All the vet techs treat him like I do, with such care/compassion, always making sure he is comfortable. Receptionist are top notch and go above and beyond for you. They are always there whenever I need something extra during his treatments. They truly care here.Side note after literally being a fly on the wall here, with 20+ appointments since august - People need to stop being so rude to anyone working in this industry-this has to be one of the hardest jobs. I’ve watched how emotional the team gets whenever someone comes in to put their pet down or has a worse case scenario. They are really trying their absolute best here and I can’t possibly see them doing anything with ill intentions. I understand how people want to place the blame. “They are warm and welcoming. They took amazing care of both of my dogs. Expensive, but worth it. My older dog has anxiety about a lot of things and they took the time to get his needles done. My younger dog just had his first shots and they took the time to make sure he was calm and felt safe, especially because my older dog is very protective of me and his little brother. I recommend this place if you want the care you feel your companion deserves.“
