My Story
I first met Dr. Jeff 19 years ago when my good friend convinced me to go see him. I was always in chronic pain from migraines; my migraines were so debilitating, there would be days when I could not leave the house. I had CT scans, EEG's, and finally saw a neurologist. The neurologist told me that I would be on migraine medication for the rest of my life. I had to take the maximum dose of Tylenol and Advil each day in addition to my migraine medication. I still continued to have the migraines. I was finally convinced to go see Dr. Jeff.
I remember first meeting him (even though it was 2001)! I remember feeling totally at ease and felt that he had my best interest in mind. Within 3 months of seeing Dr. Jeff I was completely off my prescription medication and by 6 months, I was off all over the counter medications.
I continued to see Dr. Jeff over the years. Life and kids came along and I didn't see him for 9 years! Fast forward to 2018: I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease after I was paralyzed from the waist down. I spent 3 months in the hospital and then came home to do my physio, regaining my strength and learning to walk again. As feelings returned to my lower body, I always felt the crushing of my lower back. I could only sit for a short amount of time before I had to lay down, but not before taking a lot of pain medication.
I continued like this for a year. I would spend days in bed because I couldn't sit for long periods of time. I called Dr. Jeff and he took me right away. After my first adjustment, I cried. The relief I felt was instantaneous. Why didn't I think to go see him sooner? It took a few more adjustments, but I was soon able to sit for a longer period of time each time I saw him. I highly recommend Dr. Jeff Lowthian.
