Pet boarding/training near Burlington

“At first, my husband and I were worried about leaving Luna at daycare because she is a rescue dog and can be a little nervous in new environments. When we first brought her to Furry Friends, she was scared, so we thought it might be better to try another daycare. Unfortunately, her experience at the other daycare was terrible.

Since Luna is a medium-sized dog and many of the dogs at daycare are much bigger, it was also very important for us to find a place with a large outdoor area where she could feel comfortable and have plenty of space to play.

We decided to give Furry Friends another try and signed up for the VIP package to see if, with time and consistency, Luna would become more comfortable going to daycare. It’s been about a month and a half now, and she has improved so much! She is becoming more confident and comfortable every week.

We are incredibly grateful to the wonderful staff at Furry Friends for their patience, kindness, and care. They have taken the time to understand Luna and help her feel safe and happy. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to give Furry Friends another chance, and we highly recommend them!“

“I love the vet here. Super friendlly and she’s very helpful.

If I had to come up with one small area of improvement, I’d say the young girls working at the counter they need to talk with respect. They sound like they are chatting to their friends. If they could be trained in such a way that it doesnt sound like they are talking to their friends, then it would be a five-star place.“

“We called the clinic on Saturday when our regular vet wasn’t available with a very concerning and scary issue with our pup. An appointment was made for less than an hour from when we called and when we arrived she was taken in right away after we provided all the info. Dr. Paula was amazing and patient with our fur baby. She spoke to us and asked questions and then took her in for an examination. When she returned she explained her diagnosis and treatment plan very clearly. Our pup is doing so much better after a couple days and is back to her normal self. This is the second time we have utilized this clinic and found the staff to be friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable. The overall cost for everything was very fair and I recommend Mohawk Animal Clinic 100%.“

“I found them because theyre the closest vet for exotic animals. Since our first appointment we felt comfortable with them.
Very friendly and nice staff, and dr. Lorie is one of the best vets I've brought my pets to. He makes sure to explain everything throughly, whenever Ive had questions even if I ask something repeatedly he'll answer patiently and explain till fully understood. (English is not my first language so sometimes I do ask twice or three times to make sure I get it correctly).
Knowing my pet rats hes always paid attention to how I care for them and reassures me about their when he sees me very worried.
And being exotic pets, I know someyimes meds or studies are not widley available as there are for dogs and cats. When this happens, if dr. Lorie is not extremely sure about a med or any specific situation he does research to make sure were taking the best care of my boys.

Heidi’s coat is very thick, with multiple types of hair textures, and not easy to maintain. I highly recommend Emma for her loving attention to our sensitive dog, who now looks fabulous after her bath, and all over trim. 10/10!“
