“This morning we woke up to a very cold house and subzero temperatures outside. We contacted Brian the owner right before 8am and Karl was here within 20 minutes to see what was going on. After some testing, it was clear that our 22 year old furnace was done and we needed a new one. Karl gave us our options, we picked the one for us, signed and a short while later the install began. Nick arrived and got things started, then Jesse and Bryan. They covered the floors and got right to demoing the old unit. Before long the old one was out and the new one was in, new thermostat was also installed and Karl gave us instructions on both the thermostat and new furnace. They cleaned everything up, were very respectable, gave our puppy love and demonstrated great teamwork to get the job done in hours. Our house is warm and we are incredibly happy and thankful for the incredible speedy service.“

“Stack Heating, Cooling & Plumbing recently installed a new sump pump with battery backup and a whole-house humidifier for us, and the experience was excellent. They gave me a 10 to 2 window, and I assumed that meant they would arrive sometime in that range and the installation time would vary. Instead, they showed up right at 10:05 and wrapped up by 1:55, very efficient.

The installation went smoothly, the work was clean, and everything looks great, exactly how I wanted it done. The team also caught a leak in my hot water tank that I had not even noticed and fixed it on the spot. They were easy to work with, responsive, and clearly take pride in their work.

They may not be the cheapest option out there, but you truly get what you pay for. I am glad I chose them and would not hesitate to recommend them.“

“A solid company. I had so many issues with my less than 6 month newly installed HVAC system from custom comfort, who refused to come out and fix their mistakes. I had Mark, the technician, come out and talk with me about what needed to be remedied in order for my system to work correctly. The static pressure was too high, meaning the amount of supply was too high compared to the amount of return. It was almost double. After some diagnostic testing, he determined how big the return vents needed to be to correlate with the amount of cfm's, and he also determined that there needed to be dampers on each supply run since there weren't any to begin with. The guys came out and installed the appropriately sized vents, ductwork, and installed dampers and a heat run in my kitchen. My system is now working properly, evenly heating my house, and my gas bills are almost in half. They tested my system to ensure everything was working properly and took pictures of diagnostics and their work, so I had it on record as well, which came to be important in my case against custom comfort in Stow municipal small claims court. Needless to say, Sal's is awesome, the technicians and management were great throughout my experience. Will definitely recommend Sal's for any HVAC related issue that needs fixing. “Len's went out of their way to ship in the Trane unit we wanted. Scheduled in April and installed unit as promised. The technicians after install never started it up bc it was still cold out.
As the temp increased our Trane is working fantastically. Techs came out to ensure the refrigerant was at the level prescribed. Happy we have the correct tonage for our home. To keep comfortable and keep the humidity in check, don't get one that's too large that will keep going on and off.

“About three weeks ago, I noticed the temperature rising in my home and called my usual HVAC company. Despite being a long-time customer, they put me off for several days—and then my A/C completely went out on a Sunday when temps were in the 90s. I called again and was told they were too busy.

I can say I had 2 other HVAC quotes and Collins was the most reasonable.
Steve gave some good candid advice and suggestions. I went with Rheem brand which they recommend. After seeing it installed I will say it seems to be some fantastic quality stuff here. BUT they do other brands, it’s just Rheem is what they prefer. Steve gave me a contact for some financing which has turned out to have helped me with other financial needs. Great deal on that front.

The guys came out just shy of 2 weeks later to install my new 95% furnace and 13 SEER rated AC unit. They were cool guys and very professionally. I wanna say they came in at around 1030am and were done by 3pmish. So very fast and showed me the units.
I even got the newest refrigerant (R-454B).

Would absolutely recommend them. I will be calling them for a new water heater when the time comes also.“
