“Woke up to find the house 62 degrees and the heater blowing out cold air. Called Jim and he and Mario were able to come out and diagnose the issue. We ended up having to replace the furnace and because of age, we also elected to replace the A/C unit as well.

The crew had us up and running in a day. Jim also lent us space heaters for the living room and bedroom over night to keep the house and us warm.

Excellent and fast service. Professional and courteous to our needs. Follow-up a few days later to check all outside connections. Had to install a new exhaust pipe, requiring a new hole through the basement wall.

We had used their services in the past for spot maintenance and had an existing relationship.

“Had my ducts cleaned today by Duct Busters, which is a subsidiary of Gene's Refrigeration here in Medina. I've never had my ducts cleaned at any of my houses, so this was the first time. These guys took their time, were thorough, and they did it right. They showed me pictures of mold inside my furnace and dust inside my ducts and dryer vent. I had them clean it all out and sanitize the system. My furnace and A/C is 12 years old and leaking, so I will be replacing it with a more efficient heat pump in the future. For now, however, I got my ducts cleaned to help improve air quality in my house. The workers were friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend.“

“Excellent service! owner of company, Jim, did the work to see if our part was under warranty- which we greatly appreciated! It saved us a lot of money. The workers (kyle and bill) were very professional. They were able to come the next day in a very long cold spell to fix our hot water tank and ck our furnace. We would highly recommend them! Our problem was the hot water tank gas valve control broke. They were able to also do our annual furnace check during this visit!“

“A solid company. I had so many issues with my less than 6 month newly installed HVAC system from custom comfort, who refused to come out and fix their mistakes. I had Mark, the technician, come out and talk with me about what needed to be remedied in order for my system to work correctly. The static pressure was too high, meaning the amount of supply was too high compared to the amount of return. It was almost double. After some diagnostic testing, he determined how big the return vents needed to be to correlate with the amount of cfm's, and he also determined that there needed to be dampers on each supply run since there weren't any to begin with. The guys came out and installed the appropriately sized vents, ductwork, and installed dampers and a heat run in my kitchen. My system is now working properly, evenly heating my house, and my gas bills are almost in half. They tested my system to ensure everything was working properly and took pictures of diagnostics and their work, so I had it on record as well, which came to be important in my case against custom comfort in Stow municipal small claims court. Needless to say, Sal's is awesome, the technicians and management were great throughout my experience. Will definitely recommend Sal's for any HVAC related issue that needs fixing.
