“Just had our first visit and I am blown away!!! My 70-lb bully mix, Ferdinand, absolutely hates vet visits and this is the only office that made him feel comfortable enough to even be touched. Dr. East & Jessica were incredibly kind and understanding, even when Ferdie started to act out which I felt so bad about. He didn't need a muzzle during the exam which was shocking because we've tried 4 other vets in the city this year alone, and none of them were able to lay a single finger on him. Dr. East & Jessica sat on the floor with Ferdie and were super reassuring with him the entire time. Even when he started to snap at them, they were so calm and patient as opposed to all the other vets we've tried who got offended and refused to try comforting him. You can tell they truly love animals and had my dog's best interests in mind. The ladies at the front desk were also so lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone on the search for a new vet, especially if you have an anxious baby like mine. I am so grateful I found this office - finally one that I trust and plan to go back to. Thank you to the entire RVCOC team!“

“Can't say enough good things about my experience here.

Before coming into Pure Paws last week, I was going to Ivy Pets in Tribecca where I had some bad experiences. Previously, I paid over $1000 to take an unnecessary X-ray where I had to wait over 24 hours for results. At Pure Paws, they saw my dog Jack immediately and I received results / analysis for his X-ray in minutes.

Additionally, for his visit, X-ray, and medication I paid just over $600, far less for way better service. Also, everyone was extremely nice and helpful and Curly at the front desk even left me with some nice gifts for Jack at the end of my visit. Will definitely be making this my new clinic for Jack.“

“West Chelsea has been our clinic of choice for 15 years. While the doctors change thru the years, they are all committed to excellence. One noticeable difference is that most of their vets are women. I find that women have a greater degree of empathy that I hope for in my vet.“

“Honestly this place is expensive, but vet care has always been that way but it’s so much more here. I have been calling nonstop because my little baby has been sick. I have never met such a compassionate team. Dr.Fracapane is so understanding and thorough, always explaining everything so I don’t get confused. Wendy is extremely patient and kind, listening to me complain and the nonstop questions. They both speak to you as a friend, not just a customer with sweet soft voices(you come to appreciate this when your dog is going through a rough patch). There is not a price I would not pay to get this kind of service. I cannot recommend Heart of Chelsea enough, thank you for all you do.“

“I bring my Cavapoo “Jrue” to First Avenue Vet for all of his shots and also when he isn’t feeling well, since he was 3 months old. I don’t remember a time where I wasn’t greeted with a warm welcome and a smile by the receptionists at the front desk. We never wait long to be seen and the doctors and vet technicians are all so kind, knowledgeable , and understanding to what ever our needs may be during a visit. When Jrue got neutered the surgery went good & so did the healing process, there were no complications. I know that when I am there that Jrue is in good hands and let me just say, Jrue looovveess it there lol. Everyone shows him love and he gets treats every visit. I highly recommend taking your little fur baby to First Avenue Vet.“

“We feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Abusada and Tribeca Soho Animal Hospital. The staff was kind and was able to get us an appointment right away. Dr. Abusada was incredibly knowledgeable and able to diagnose an acute skin issue that no one else had been able to diagnose and treat. She was very patient and compassionate with our 11+ year old dog, who loved her. 5 star treatment!“

“My dog had an episode one night where he was dizzy and staring at walls. We took him to the Tribecca emergency room. They charged us over $3K and t9ld us he may have 4 hours left to live because he may be septic. We then went to EVG and they said he may have rectal cancer, the bill was $9700. We then waited 2 days and went to Battey Park Vet, they looked over the results and told us he just had Ecoli. That bill was $120. Had I gone here first I would have saved almost $14K. Dr. Berger and Dr. Lopresti are favorites. Kobe loves them. This vet is like having competent family members.“

“The Village Veterinarian and Dr. Mohr are absolutely amazing! Our kitty was incredibly stressed, but Dr. Mohr and her entire staff treated her with such compassion, dignity, and respect. They went above and beyond to make our kitty as comfortable as possible during the visit. We couldn’t be more grateful for their compassion and professionalism. Highly recommend!“

“Cannot say enough amazing things about this practice and especially Dr Solomon. My dog came in sick and needed urgent surgery. Dr Solomon spent an hour with us- going over all the options and what was at stake. We decided on surgery and Denny did amazing. The care, love and thoughtfulness that the whole team displayed was beyond! Denny has been recuperating and doing great!!!!“

“The veterinary office was amazing, and I feel so lucky to have discovered it. I needed a same-day appointment for my cat, and every other place I called wanted to charge fees for that. What's up with that? But this office got me an appointment right away, and I didn't have to wait long at all. The whole staff was super friendly, and the prices were great. They didn’t want to push for 100’s of test so they did what they thought necessary, and they called me back as soon as they got the results for additional recommendations . I look forward to taking all my pets there in the future.“

“We started going to Hudson last year, as our dog Margot was aging and we wanted to find a place that would be able to support her and us through any medical event that could come our way. We loved the staff's kindness, competence, and love for Margot.

Margot was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor in March, successfully completed surgery and did beautifully, only to be diagnosed with an unrelated and untreatable cancer two month later. Unfortunately we had to make the decision to put her down.

I cannot stress how instrumental Dr. Kahn, Flo, and the other staff were in getting us through an exhausting, very scary, and heartbreaking time. The care, compassion, commitment to helping us balance Margot's quality of life while maximizing our time with her has stayed with us since her passing. It has made grieving her slightly more bearable because we don't question a single decision we made. We will never be able to thank Dr. Kahn and Hudson enough for that comfort.

“So today I went to go to the vetenarian to get my cat her vaccines. When I walked in a heard a very strange noise, almost like a growl but it sounded different. I was a little startled but figured it was just a large dog, everything seemed normal until the veterinarian told me to follow her… what I saw next I cannot even put into words, this was single handedly the most villainous, frightful and just down right pernicious thing I have ever seen: I will attach a photo to show what I saw but I am still in shock. Fortunately, I later found out that they ended up saving the Gorilla, so I will definitely be returning. This is an experience I will never forget.“

“Matt was incredible! Took care of our cat who needed some stitches and antibiotics after a run in with an AC unit. Matt was so kind and caring and talked us through everything. Thank you Matt!! The trip ended up being way more expensive than expected (like $900+), and I wish we had known a bit more about the pricing of the procedure beforehand. But at the end of the day our cat needed help and AMC was there for us. We also had a long wait (we were there for around 5 hours total) but that's because other animals had to be prioritized due to being in much worse condition. I'm so grateful for the team for helping our baby! I would trust this place again for emergency care, just be prepared for a large bill (minimum $300+ up front just to be seen). If you're reading this I hope your pet gets the care they need. ❤️“
