Laura, the owner and my stylist, is truly a master of her craft. She keeps my blonde hair beautifully highlighted and in the healthiest condition it's ever been.
After many thoughtful conversations with Laura, I finally decided to get extensions—and it was the best decision for my hair. Laura is an absolute perfectionist, and it shows in every detail. My extensions last a full six months (almost unheard of!) thanks to her meticulous technique and the high-quality extensions she uses. I rarely lose an extension, which speaks volumes about her skill and precision.

We originally chose Long Island Creative Contracting to install a tile floor in our kitchen and family room. It was a somewhat difficult project because of uneven elevations between the rooms. John's team completed the project on time and budget and the results were, in a word, spectacular! We recently contracted with John to completely remodel our kitchen. This presented a challenge because we wanted to keep the tile floor he previously installed, however, the tile we originally selected was no longer available. The LICC team was able to harvest existing tile from previously hidden areas and piece into the new layout with absolutely no way to tell. This translated into a considerable savings and allowed us to keep the floor we were so happy with while still providing a completely new modern look for our kitchen. The level of service and personal attention was outstanding (again) and we really liked the transparency of the pricing through the use of an online portal. John was on stie every day to coordinate with his very capable crew and speak with us about issues and or changes. The technicians were talented, professional and cleaned up after each workday, including the garage where they needed to store the materials during construction. My wife and I highly recommend LICC to anyone planning a home project, no matter the complexity.

I recently was in a tough situation where my vet was unable to see my dog Riley for some unexpected bleeding. The last thing I wanted to do was go to an emergency room, so I tried calling Miller Place Animal Hospital to see if they could get me in - as a new patient, without an appointment. Dr. Hirsch and his staff were so accommodating, taking me in same day (on a Saturday no less), and helping to ensure that my dog was seen and cared for right away. It’s not often that I review a doctor’s office, but in this case, it was so well deserved, that I’d be doing them an injustice if I didn’t socialize it!
If you are looking for a new vet for your pet, I highly recommend making an appointment with Dr. Hirsch and all the staff at Miller Place Animal Hospital…you won’t regret it!

I run my own swim business for the summer, so I need a reliable pool company to come and make sure everything is running smoothly.
My pool was cloudy on a Tuesday when the guys came and cleaned it, they put shock in the pool and the pool was back to being clear within 12 hours. Although the next morning. Jason came and checked and made sure everything was okay with my pool. I didn’t even have to call and tell him my pool was cloudy.
TLC pools is super accommodating within my schedule and provide top notch experience to make sure my pool is always clear and running. I highly recommend this company if you need someone reliable!!

I discovered Margaret’s Florist from a friend who’s daughter used them for her wedding. I ordered a corsage and boutonnière for my son’s prom. Margaret the owner took the order herself. She was able to match the dress with a beautiful ribbon. The flowers were beautiful and fresh! The price was very reasonable. All of the staff is friendly but Margaret was an absolute sweetheart! I highly recommend Margaret’s Florist! I won’t be going anywhere else!
Probably should not have gone last minute and in a panic, but it was my 3 year old sons birthday and no one was answering at local places and our kids cut dresser was out sick. There is no difference in price between an adult and a child hair cut, so to me 30 is pretty pricey. My son decided he most definitely wasn't going to cooperate and I have to give credit where it's due. The man who did his hair or attempted to, really was patient and did his best. He offered to not charge me but honestly, I never would have brought him if I knew he was going to make it nearly impossible. I had to keep pulling him back up and bribing him. He's usually pretty good but he hasn't had enough hair cuts to ensure that i suppose. Anyways, 4 stars for the effort and it didn't come out too bad considering. Don't worry, I tipped really well.. lol.
I had my appointment set and came 5 minutes early, I was taken right away and it was very busy! Anna did my nails while another woman did my 10 minute back massage. Anna then did a lavender massage (20 minutes + 5 minutes hot stones) as well as gel pedicure on my toes. The massages were both phenomenal and the lavender treatment removed all of my dead skin & callouses. I hadn't been to the salon for a year so I knew I wanted in depth treatment. I am 7 months pregnant and very swollen so the massages on my feet felt so nice, I will spare you photos of my swollen feet lol! Prices were great for the services !!! Anna is very kind and gentle. Would definitely return and recommend 30 - gel manicure + 5 - almond nail shape + 60 - lavender pedicure + 20 - gel pedicure Total = $115
