“They say first impressions are everything. South Shore Animal Hospital has gained my trust. I am a new dog owner with a currently 6 month old Black Lab Mix named Luke. I had been looking to get established with a Vet and had been doing some research. But when Luke had some issues that needed attention I started frantically calling places to be met with a lot of rudeness and no availability. I found South Shore and booked an appointment online for the soonest available which was 3 days later. I called up and explained the situation and they were happy to squeeze me in the same day on a Saturday. Now I can’t say if I got lucky or if they did me a favor but I appreciated them getting in a new customer same day on a Saturday. The Staff were kind and were patient with Luke as he is still a puppy and made him feel comfortable at his first visit. Their pricing seems reasonable although I did not need anything major but the exam fee seemed okay. They answered all my questions as a new dog owner would have. I’m glad I found them and will consider bringing in our cat Pumpkin in as well as needed. Thank you South Shore Animal Hospital. We will see you again“

“I took my dog Benny here for PT and acupuncture every Monday for nearly 2 years. Without the help of Victoria and Riley in PT and Dr. Donato who did his acupuncture, Benny would not have been able to continue living a comfortable life. Benny has multiple issues, arthritis, disc issues, ACL and joint issues. You could truly see a difference in his day to day comfort due to these wonderful folks. Benny was genuinely excited to go here each week which speaks to the kind of care they provide. I highly recommend them for anyone considering these treatment options. Alesha at the front desk is a blessing and always finds a way to get you in for an appointment to make sure your pups are taken care of.

Dr. Paoloni just did surgery on one of my pups and I am beyond pleased with the care during and after surgery to get him back to good health.

Glenn, Kristal and the entire rest of the staff are super friendly, answer all of my questions and are each very helpful in taking care of my pups.

“I have been using Bellmore Vet for just about 11 years. This is the best Vet service I have ever had. Dr. Kevin and his team are excellent. I like the fact that he is not an alarmist and always has answers as to how to approach an issue I may be having with my Dog. Nice girls at the front desk and good tech assistants. Parking in the front in limited but there’s a public lot right in the back.“

“It would not be dramatic to say that one would have a hard time not only finding a better vet on earth, but also a better person. Dr. Hajdu is the embodiment of kindness, integrity and care. I have yet to leave his office without being inspired to be a better human being myself. He has been there for me and my 5 dogs through it all and has guided me through everything from knowing when it is time to let them go to welcoming new puppies. Dr. Hajdu brings dignity, grace and an incredibly knowledgeable and keen instinct to every visit and usually finishes off a conversation with a witty joke and existential sense of humor normally reserved only for the incredibly bright. To say a visit to his office is a breath of fresh air would be a gross understatement. I pray he stays in practice well into his retirement years because I cannot think of ever finding anyone better, or even close.
