Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care

My almost 14 year old fur baby was taken to the ER over the weekend after going into congestive heart failure. I was told that he needed an EKG, but unfortunately, there wasn’t a cardiologist on call, and they would have to see who might be available to come in.

I knew that once he was released, I wanted to take him to Gold Coast Veterinary. While my dog was still in the ER, I emailed Dr. Blass, the cardiologist at Gold Coast, on Sunday. There is normally a months long wait to get an appointment with him, but after I explained what was happening, he immediately told me he would fit us in the very next day.

I attended a breed specific clinic at Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care. The doctors and staff ran the clinic with exemplary efficiency. It was a health screening event, involving endoscopy on several Norwich terriers to determine whether they were affected by Norwich Terrier Upper Airway Syndrome. Thank you so much for your kindness, professionalism and dedication to the dogs’ health, including disease prevention. I appreciate so much your generous opening of the hospital on Saturday, and hosting this clinic to help our terriers. What a fabulous veterinary hospital, with amazing, dedicated staff!

We brought our sweet Barkley to Gold Coast after he got hurt on 2/14/22 by a neglectful sitter. We went in for surgery and had PT there regularly until his passing on 6/23/26. The admin staff always greeted Barkley with a smile. Victoria and Riley treated him all these years, and we are convinced it extended his quality of life. We considered them part of his extended health care family. We were so touched when we got a call from Victoria to express their condolences on behalf of the entire team. Thank you Gold Coast!
