Dr. Deme did my 7 year old Peanut’s spay on 8/14/26. He was absolutely helpful and informative during the entire process. She is healing wonderfully. He went above and beyond in explaining the aftercare instructions. Things went seamlessly despite her age. I am so happy there were no complications. I am eternally grateful to the entire staff of Mineola Animal Hospital. Including Daniella, the technician, who did my baby Peanut’s dental on the same day. I will forever be grateful to the staff of Mineola Animal hospital for saving my 13 year old Buttercup’s life today. She was struggling to breathe since 2 AM so I brought her in without an appointment. The wonderful doctors Colleen Sorge and Ellen Tan did X-rays, bloodwork and an abdominocentesis after finding fluid buildup. They saved her life. They were immensely caring and helpful during this truly difficult time. The staff was especially helpful including, Vito, Sarah, Tim, Julia, and the receptionist Mindy.

Wonderful staff and doctor; nice, clean office. My regular vet is Dr Penyy at The Cat Doctor, but she was booked solid today and we had an emergency with our cat Flash, who was throwing up and hadn't had a bowel movement for a few days. The Cat Doctor suggested we call their sister hospital, Mineola Animal Hospital, and they were kind enough to fit us in and see us right away. Dr. Deme was wonderful. listened to my concerns and was very kind and gentle with Flash, and after an X-ray determined that there was some impacted stool that needed to come out, they gave Flash an enema and he seems to be feeling much better.
