“Called this awesome guy Johnny on a Saturday morning and within a couple hours him and Kevin were already at my parent's house in Hicksville!

He assessed the situation and said he would be back on Monday with the stuff to fix the tub that was leaking into the basement. I asked him to come back on Wednesday and he came over with Frank and they got right to work.

He could have quoted me this and that and upsell to replace this and that but he wanted to first try and fix the issue without making it a big thing which we agreed with.

Pricing was fair and you can tell he's just a good dude. Very professional and knows what he's doing. You know you found someone good when you know you would call them again.“

He replaced the pipe and noticed the valve that turns the water on for the garden hose was not in the best shape. So he also replaced it. . “I had a wondering experience with Tumminello Plumbing. Just days after moving into my new house I discovered my hot water heater, which was only two years old, was leaking. I called Tumminello because they installed the tank and they dispatched someone immediately—within 20 minutes. John was nice, professional, and helpful. He told me that unfortunately the hot water heater needed to be replaced and made sure I understood what needed to be done so it would be covered under warranty. The next day John and Mike returned to install the new hot water heater. They completed the job quicker than estimated, were very neat, and incredibly kind. As a new homeowner, it’s scary when a big fixture needs repair or replacement, but Tumminello put my mind at ease and made the process as seamless as possible. “My hot water heater sprung a leak on the afternoon of July 3, meaning that I was not going to have a repairman come until Monday. At 8 am Monday morning I called a firm with whom I have transacted in the past with excellent results, Sampson Plumbing and Heating. Their two plumbers were here by noon. Not only did they fix my water heater, but they repaired another half dozen problems with my plumbing that I had put off for the last year. Their work was fabulous, everything installed as I asked for, everything worked perfectly. Nice fellows with excellent personalities, I really felt that they were prioritizing my interests while they were here. The were neat, creative with their solutions, and the cleaned up after themselves when finished. I could not be happier about the work performed by Sampson Plumbing and Heating, especially that their prices were very reasonable as well. If you need a plumber in the Stony Brook area, I recommend Sampson Plumbing and Heating as your first call, they always have exceeded my expectations.

They took time and due diligence, to be sure the gas lines were safe, pressure tested and everything was to code. Additionally, filed all necessary paperwork to conclude the permits and inspections . A few people deserve specific recognition. Devin consistently goes the extra mile, is completely transparent, and genuinely makes a best effort to save us money wherever possible — a rarity in this industry. Johnny, the service manager, runs a tight ship and truly cares about doing the job right. The man was on site working through the job in a back brace — that tells you everything about his commitment.
