“Called on a Tuesday morning about water in the basement that I suspected was from a slow leak in the hot water tank. The owner of PP&H came by later that afternoon to make an inspection and found water in the tank setting after removing the pilot guard, quoted a price, and arranged to come replace the tank Thursday morning at our request. Arrived 8:30 AM on the arranged date with two crew members, replaced the water tank and three valves, removed the old tank, and was complete by 10:30 AM. “The company that had been servicing my Knight/ Lochinvar HIGH EFFICIENCY boiler (radiant heat and hot water) was taken over but another that didn't offer on-demand service. Google search and a few calls hooked me up to Arvada based in Great Neck. Originally, I scheduled them for periodic maintenance, but then the system "locked out" and cool weather had just arrived and we had no heat or hot water. I contacted them and they (Mike) hastened the date and took care of the problem (they needed to come back early the next day to exchange a corroded valve). The workers (Joe and Dan) showed up on schedule, were pleasant and found the problem in 15 minutes without the high tech diagnostics. We are up and running for $500.Of course they handle standard systems and can do heat pump conversions, so see if they can help your hearing needs.“
“I have a large city owned tree in front of my house. I call companies yearly to snake my sewer line to prevent backups into my home. For the past 2-3 years I've had 2 backups per year- this was abnormal. After my last back up I decided to call another company to clear my backup. I was told that its soap grease. I'm not a plumber but if this is the case, there would be flooding all over NYC. I then decided that I wanted someone to look in my sewer line and check for any obstruction. I called other companies and I was quoted $1,500 to have a video of my sewer line done...ridiculous and unaffordable. Then I found Will Do Plumbing and I was given an affordable alternative...photos. I was able to watch the plumber go through my sewer line and view the video as it was being done and take photos . The roots were thick and took up half of the pipe circumference. They were able to pin point the location of the two invasive roots from this city owned tree. I walked with them outside and they showed me the areas that had blockage. I rescheduled another appointment with Will Do Plumbing to have these root branches taken care of and the price was less than the $1,500 I was quoted by other companies to just have a video taken. My experience from my initial appointment call to the office, the plumbers showed up on time both times, they were very respectful of my home and discussed with me everything there were doing. On Sunday my toilet leaked through my ceiling below and they had 2 plumbers here Monday morning to get it fixed within an hour.
