“Went here recently based on a word of mouth recommendation to get my new prescription filled. Tiny spot, great results. His frame selection is curated, focused on name brands in mid to high end models. He can get many frames not in his current inventory, and offers the newest options in gradients and tints. I knew what I wanted going in, tried a selection of frames within my desired style, but passed up a couple dozen styles as they just weren’t sitting right on my face. He suggested a frame in a different style than I was going for (nose pads vs keyhole, dual material wire frame vs solid acrylic). The frames contoured to my brows, gave a lift to my eyes, and sat comfortably on nose. Went in requiring utilitarian, came out with that plus elegance. Win. They were ready quickly, perfectly calibrated, and needed just a minor tweak on the nose pads to sit. Hernan is highly skilled, fast and patient, no fuss, obviously really loves what he does, and has exceptional knowledge of his craft. Smooth and pleasant experience. Highly recommend.“

“While visiting NYC from Australia, I had symptoms of a detached retina and a Saturday afternoon. I had no idea where to go and reached out to Eye Q on W79th as they were nearby. Despite being fully booked, based on my symptoms, squeezed me in right away. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and the optometrist was amazing. Thorough, knowledgeable and was able to diagnose that what I had was not an immediate issue and gave me confidence to fly back to Oz without worrying (on the plane now). Done in less than 2 hours.
