What truly stands out is Francesca. She is constantly moving throughout the office, checking on patients, making sure everyone is comfortable, and creating an atmosphere that feels more like family than a business.

As someone who is incredibly indecisive, choosing frames can be overwhelming. Francesca never made me feel rushed. She took the time to listen, offer honest opinions, and guide me through the process until I found frames I absolutely love. Her patience and dedication are unmatched.

I travel a long distance just to come here because I simply can’t imagine going anywhere else. It’s rare to find a place where you feel so comfortable, valued, and cared for from start to finish. The amazing vibes are just an added bonus!

And let’s talk about the frame selection!! absolutely incredible! Hands down the best collection I’ve seen anywhere. Every time I visit, I leave with multiple favorites and plenty of options to choose from.

Greg and crew are very adept and Dr. Krassnoff has the most modern equipment for eye examination. At my age of 70+ years, my most recent AI Varrilux glasses have my vision like when I was a teenager. They don’t upsell in my opinion, they do recommend that which improves vision. Many people I know tend to be frugal about what they spend on glasses but the “extras” are what really make your vision optimal. I appreciate Village Optical and will continue to recommend them to my family and friends.“

The doctor takes his time to make sure your prescription is tailor made to what you use your glasses and contacts most for. Stella was super helpful in picking the correct frames. She even allowed me to swap my frames out after purchase when i realized a different color would go better with frames I chose. You get what you pay for...and this place is the personification of that. I am sure you can find a cheaper place to get glasses and contacts, but you wont find a better one.“

His frame selection is curated, focused on name brands in mid to high end models. He can get many frames not in his current inventory, and offers the newest options in gradients and tints. I knew what I wanted going in, tried a selection of frames within my desired style, but passed up a couple dozen styles as they just weren’t sitting right on my face. He suggested a frame in a different style than I was going for (nose pads vs keyhole, dual material wire frame vs solid acrylic). The frames contoured to my brows, gave a lift to my eyes, and sat comfortably on nose. Went in requiring utilitarian, came out with that plus elegance. Win. They were ready quickly, perfectly calibrated, and needed just a minor tweak on the nose pads to sit. Hernan is highly skilled, fast and patient, no fuss, obviously really loves what he does, and has exceptional knowledge of his craft. Smooth and pleasant experience. Highly recommend.“

After purchasing a pair of glasses, I was later informed that the frames were out of stock and no longer available from the brand, and my order was canceled. While this was disappointing, I appreciated being notified promptly. I did notice, however, that the same frames were still listed as available on the website and could be added to the cart and checked out, which was confusing.

That said, communication was clear, and the refund was processed quickly. I would consider ordering again due to their pricing and professionalism, and I hope inventory accuracy continues to improve to prevent similar situations in the future.“
