I can’t saying anything bad about Paul at elite contracting. They installed a metal roof on our home in Clifton park. Throughout the project Paul kept us informed with everything that was going on. Never any mess left behind and we have an amazing roof on our home now!

Aisha is so friendly and puts you at ease immediately. This was my first appointment, and I most definitely will be returning. It takes extra talent and skill to be good with very fine hair. Wow, I am just so grateful for Stefanazzi and Spargo. 27 years ago, when my Dad passed they made a beautiful gravestone for him. Sadly, my mom passed away January of 2024. Imagine my surprise when the very same wonderful person who helped me plan my Dad’s marker was still there and able to match mom’s to my dad’s!! I can’t thank you enough, Rayanne! Salon Harmony West is located on N. Mohawk St. in the he updated Harmony Mill area of Cohoes. As you walk up the stairs you'll notice the seasonal garden flanked by flowers. When you walk into the Salon the atmosphere is welcoming and there is always a smile to greet you. I love my hair stylist Alison Lyons and Salon Harmony West.
Sean is an excellent barber. He remembers the way you like your hair cut and is incredibly personable. Highly recommended!
Bickford Landscaping did a wonderful job redoing our front plant beds and creating two new beds for us. We had quite a bit of trouble finding a landscaper who truly did landscape design, would, show up, provide a detailed quote and communicate with us. Robert did all of this and more. We felt confident hiring his company feeling that the work would actually get done. His crew came on time, got the work done in the timeframe indicated even though they worked with very challenging soil (mostly clay and rock), made it look amazing and provided us with care instructions to help ensure the plants would thrive. Robert is an excellent communicator which is rare, from our experience, with others in his field. Although we thought the quote was a little pricey, we felt Bickford Landscaping was the right choice and well worth the cost.

We purchased a house in the Albany area last fall and now several months later discovered several electrcial issues that needed repair. I called Jeff and he said he would try to get out to use in the next day or so. Low and behold less that 24 hours later he was on his way to help. We had several outside outlights that were not working. The issue was finding how the previous owner had wired everything. Jeff did a great job figuring out what was causing the issue and corrected the wiring and replaced several GFCI's that had failed. He also rewired some of our basement outlets that had been connected to an upstairs floor outlet and was put on switch upstairs by the previous owner. Having run a property management firm for over 35 years I now it can be very difficult to figure out and correct someone elses shoddy work but Jeff was amazing. We have more work to do and Jeff will be our first call. Thanks for a job well done. I highly recommned Jeff's expertise and professionalism.

Dan Riley is an excellent electrician. He answers phone calls promptly, shows up in a timely fashion, and has reasonable rates. He has done jobs as various as burying an outside line, replacing smoke detectors, fixing a bathroom gfci, and installing a new electrical line. I would definitely recommend.
First time at Shelly's cut and style. She listened while I explained what I wanted, made suggestions (which I accepted), and did a good job.
Pro's:
10 minute walk from my apartment. In my first visit, it took only an hour for a haircut from leaving my house to returning home. To be fair, I was the only customer in the salon at the time.
Good listener. Does what you ask, while trying to improve upon what you want.
The price is reasonable, a few dollars more than Supercuts at $28.
Cons:
She's the ONLY stylist, which means every time the phone rings, she has to stop cutting your hair to answer it. I imagine this also affects waiting time quite a bit if she's running behind, but we'll see.
Doesn't take credit cards, which I was shocked. Thankfully, I had enough cash on me, but I don't know what I would have done if I didn't.
Overall, I am satisfied enough to go back, despite the inconvenience of always making sure I have cash on me (I rely heavily on my debit card and usually have very little money on me). And while my time might sometimes be affected by Shelly being the only stylist, I imagine it still has to be less time than the 3 hours roundtrip by bus it takes me to get to Supercuts in Latham and back. Lastly, my haircut was good enough to warrant a repeat visit, and I'm happy to stay local, if I can.
Requested style: I asked for a short layer cut, but the way I described it, she said it would actually be a man's cut. She added some feminine touches like leaving the "sideburns" longer than I normally would like, and tapering the back (I asked for a round/oval shape for the bottom, because I don't like "wispy", and she complied).

When I arrived on February 5th, I was totally hopeless. I had serious doubts that I could ever live a clean and productive life again, and I had doubts that they could offer anything other than any of the other facilities. But I was wrong. My experience there was unlike any other. I was always treated with dignity and respect. And the staff would go out of their way to assure I was learning and obtaining as much knowledge and information possible about my disease.
The owner Steve is the nicest guy. His estimate he gave me a great price and got the job done. I would use them again.
This shop went above and beyond, highly recommend! The team made the process as smooth as possible and made an unfortunate accident with a deer sting just a little bit less. Jose provided consistent, clear communication, and the text updates were frequent but not overboard. I dropped it off after hours and got immediate notification the next morning that Will had started to evaluate my vehicle for the insurance estimate which was completed in prompt and timely manner. Joe did a fantastic job on the body work! He was able to match the grille I had previously upgraded to and installed before the deer wrecked it, he is clearly highly knowledgeable and skilled in his profession. I live on a dirt road so it’s not often that I see my car as squeaky clean as Mike made it when I returned to pick it up this morning. I’m very impressed with how professional, hard working, and organized the team was even with the holiday rapidly approaching. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs services the shop can provide!
Arielle Turner is my girl! I met her years ago through a friend in college, and I won't go to anyone else for a cut and blowout. I was super sad that she wouldn't move down to the city with me back in 2019 ? so I make the trip to see her when I'm in need of a cut100% recommend this establishment. It's easy to get to and is beautiful on the inside. They keep it so well and always have a holiday tree up!
I work for a dealership in Albany and have been using different places for vinyl wrapping for vehicles when needed. I used this establishment for the first time cause they would squeeze me in as well as being competitively priced. The work they did exceeded others I’ve used and I will be using them in the future. I’m not one to leave reviews normally but change is good. 5 stars for sure.

New to area and took my dog for her annual checkup. They were thorough and did a good exam. We willlbe going back as needed.
Pete the plumber is a first rate plumber and a very honest one. He will not charge you for services you don't need. I had what I thought was a broken garbage disposal and a clogged drain. Pete came by very promptly and removed the clogs and this enabled the disposal to work and the drain to run smoothly. Another plumbing company had come by earlier and proceeded to tell me that I would need new pipes installed in my basement as well as a new garbage disposal. They wanted to charge me more than $4000 for services and pipe replacement that I didn't need. If you need a plumber check with Pete the Plumber first. He doesn't rip people off because he has integrity!

I love the doctor over here and all the staff members. The doctor is very nice and always checks up on me while he is doing work to make sure I am alright. First time I am seeing a doctor where he is very caring as well as his team members. This is definitely the place to go to get dental work done. I am very happy I found this practice because God knows what would’ve happened if I didn’t. Appreciate everyone over here from the bottom of my heart ?.

My cat had an upper respiratory infection they gave me a liquid antibiotic and she was better in few days.
