“Andrew arrived 15-20 minutes prior to our 2pm appointment, which wasn’t a problem. After providing him with the details of the AC unit, (not cooling & the system is very loud), he immediately went to work.Andrew was on the roof for approximately 30-45 minutes. Upon finishing, he explained his findings, had taken pics, fixed the problem, especially tighten a few bolts. The unit is very quiet now because you can now actually have a conversation without yelling at the top of your lungs. He also explained how the unit works, and two future problems to be on the lookout for in approximately two years, based on the usage of the unit. “Daniel did a great job in getting our 20+ year old AC system back online. We have had issues over the years with the float switch getting clogged and shutting the AC system down. The float switch shut the AC off in June and again the first of September. The company I've used before told me I needed to hire a plumber to clear the drain line from the furnace to the primary drain which means I had to hire an AC tech and a plumber which is generally going to be costly. I needed an AC company that also had a knowledgeable AC & Plumbing service tech who could reset the float switch & clear the drain line properly. Since the drain line from the furnace goes to the bathroom drain, the line never really gets cleared of debris from the furnace. Daniel gave me 2 options on clearing the drain line of debris. He quoted me a price for clearing the primary line the right way - not just clearing the water at the float switch line at the furnace. I couldn't believe the amount of debris he was able to clear from the main drain line ! AC and Plumbing issues usually mean $$$$$$$ but this wasn't the case with Bob's Repair. With Bob's Repair I could hire 1 person to do the job - correctly the first time. I searched YELP for hours trying to find a reliable company. Luckily I found Bob's Repair reviews to be honest. I took a chance and I'm very happy with the quality of the tech Daniel and a company with integrity.“

“This was my second quote for Airduct cleaning after the first wanted $700 for basic and $1500 for “deep cleaning”. Allergy Airduct quoted $450 and stuck to that quote. This is for two HVAC units in a 2200 sf house. They inspected the ducts and said that they were basically pretty clean already so no deep cleaning needed. The first company was full of up charges before they even looked in the ducts. I appreciate the honesty I got from Terry at Allergy Airduct and I will use them again next time.“
