Master Kevin and Ms. Bonnie are truly amazing. They are incredible instructors, mentors, and role models who genuinely care about every child. They do so much more than teach taekwondo. They help build confidence, discipline, strength, respect, and character while creating a positive environment where every child feels supported and encouraged.
Our journey started when my son attended the summer program at just 5 years old after we had recently moved to South Plainfield. That experience was all it took. We were hooked! Today, at 11 years old, he has earned his 2nd Degree Black Belt, an accomplishment that reflects years of dedication and the outstanding instruction he has received. Our 8 year old daughter is proudly following in his footsteps and recently earned her Purple Belt.
What makes SP United so special is the genuine investment Master Kevin, Ms. Bonnie, and the entire team make in every child. They celebrate each milestone while teaching life lessons that extend far beyond the mat.
If you are considering introducing your child to a new sport or activity, this is absolutely the place to do it. I especially recommend starting with the summer program. It is the perfect introduction and was what first introduced our family to this amazing community.
