Alex Wilkie's Martial Arts Academy changes lives. It has created a very supportive and respectful community. With barely any experience, people can jump in and learn quickly. The place is a great workout, with great training and conditioning. Alex is so cool and easy to talk to. The instructors are amazing and caring. The academy is an amazing place for people of all ages, from beginners to advanced learners. It is highly recommended for anyone, especially school age children suffering from lack of confidence. The instructors are really accepting of extra energy and get the kids motivated. Everyone feels very welcome.
I heard about this place for awhile. My son had taken a year of Taekwondo but it wasn't a good fit for him. We came for a trial class and absolutely fell in love with the place. Mr. Wilkie walked around saying hello to every parent and makes everyone feel so welcome. The instructors are really accepting of my sons extra energy and get the kids motivated. My son has fun every class.

Honestly I did not have high or low expectations at all coming here. I just wanted to learn Jiu Jitsu. I had vero little knowledge on Jiu Jitsu. But I will say, I’m the girliest a girl could get, and have never done anything like that in my life. I’m perky and ask many questions and take a while to understand things. I just started my first class today. But I am SOOOO overwhelmed with happiness and faith in doing something I love and in a place so accepting. Greg was super patient with me and everyone there was respectful and kind. The student that was my partner for the day was incredibly helpful and patient as well. And Alex was sooo kind and generous. I was so afraid to go here and left BEYOND grateful. Loved every second of it. I truly had fun. Time flew by so quick and I cannot wait to see how my body and mind adjust to this hopefully new lifestyle 💪 ❤️‼️
