Great martial arts school for kids. From what I can see for last 6 months, all teachers and assistants here are good with kids and that’s important to me. My son loves it here and wants to get his black belt. He along with students, in almost every class, get to learn the skills as well as having a little fun along the way.

My girls have been at Satori for few years now and we love coming here. They are very enthusiastic about attending their classes and love their teachers. The positive environment at Satori has not only built their defensive skills but have given them confidence in general which was my aim.

Satori has been an amazing exp for us. My son love to be here and enjoy sessions with all instructors. Their instructions are up to the mark, pay attention to all students. Awesome, humble and friendly staff.

From Satori Academy of Martial Arts

The Satori Academy Story begins with Dave Kovar, our founder and Kyoshi (Master Teacher). Dave Kovar opened his first school in 1978 in Northern California with the philosophy that the principles behind martial arts have wide application in students' lives. This innovative approach combined empowering life skills with traditional martial arts training and led to nationwide recognition. Kovar named his now nationwide organization Satori Academy, borrowing the Japanese term for enlightenment, Satori. Satori symbolizes our goal for all our students, to be "in the moment, at your best."
