“I can't thank everyone at Cooperman Barnabas enough. I arrived March 19th to have an embolization by the wonderful Dr. Chancellor. I stayed overnight and had a successful surgery by the amazing Dr. James K Liu to remove a carotid body paraganglioma the following morning. His team, including Stella the anesthesiologist, the individual doing my neuromonitoring, and the residents that work with Dr. Liu were phenomenal. Dr. Kaye and her residents have been excellent. The girls from speech pathology and physical therapy were great! All of my nurses have been excellent. Nurses Megan, Yaowen, Nikki, Gianna, and Frances have all been incredible. They are the nicest and most helpful nurses one could ask for. There have been some great nursing assistants to assist me in my stay here as well. I don't remember much of the CT, but I remember the MRI from the next day well. The tech was great. She took great care of me getting me moved over and making sure I was comfortable. There is no way I could have gotten this level of care back home in Kentucky. It was a very clean and well maintained facility. We will be back in the future to do the other side, but for now, I am glad my path crossed the paths of all these amazing people. I'm so glad I got to meet you all, and I thank you all so much for taking great care of me!”
“Good Evening... I'm at home typing this. Guess where I was today(Monday, April 6, 2026)? I was in the OR at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center with Dr. Konakondla and Dr. Telfeian having endoscopic cervical spine surgery. I rode home from New Jersey to Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania(about an 1.5 hour trip) with zero pain, zero drowsiness and just a fantastic experience behind me. I want everyone to know that the staff at Cooperman Barnabas was wonderful. They tolerated my, let's call it conversational personality, by pretty much matching it! More importantly, every single one of those people who prepped me for surgery and who took care of me post-op/anesthesia, had nothing but praise for these two surgeons. It was especially noteworthy that the young lady who performed the neural monitoring during surgery mentioned that she loved this team because any time she notifies them of a signal change they needed to know about they immediately listened to her and made the necessary adjustments. In addition, everyone on the hospital staff from check-in to registration to the tech, nurses, OR staff and doctors went out of their way to make me comfortable. This is a top notch organization. Dr. Konakondla and Dr. Telfeian are the best of the best when it comes to endoscopic spine surgery AND being just great human beings. One of my favorite qualities is their love for teaching. So....ASK QUESTIONS!!! All the best to anyone in this situation. Thank-you so much to everyone who was involved in my care at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center!”

“Dr.Rand is warm and knowledgeable. The people who work in his office are AMAZING. General practitioners and Gynecologists, that I have seen, do not have the specific hormone information. For example, progesterone cream is not bioavailable yet they prescribe it. Weird, right? The blood panel Dr.Rand administers is comprehensive. It's the road map tool he uses. I just started on his program ( 54 Female) and am seeing results. I'm about two and a half months in. I'm reading at night instead of passively streaming videos and I just started exercising. Say what???!!!!”
