Everyone was kind, patient and very caring. The center was clean, and organized. The waiting room was beautiful. I was nervous to have this surgery. However, once I arrived I was at ease because the staff was amazing.
I chose Short Hills Surgery Center for my 13yr old son's surgery because I'm a PACU nurse there and know firsthand the exceptional care they provide. However, being on the other side as a parent was a completely different experience.
Dr. Jason Garcia and the entire surgical team were amazing. They took the time to explain everything and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. The process from pre to post was very smooth and easy to follow. Everyone involved were so helpful, informative and kind. They must repeat what they say multiple times a day and yet they never sounded like they were rushing the words out to just to get it out. The waiting area was comfortable and more like a hotel lobby than a medical one. Thank you to everyone for making this experience for our 14yr old daughter less scary.
