Have been a patient of Dr. Leventhal for many years. Wore glasses for 70 years and seven years ago Dr. Leventhal operated on my cataracts. Since then I have perfect eyesight without glasses.
My appointment today was an awesome experience from the front desk to all of the staff that assisted with the preparation for my eye exam with Dr Leventhal. The staff are super caring, friendly, as well as, knowledgeable of procedures and equipment. They took the time to explain what was happening and the why. Once the doctor got to me I was certain that I was in good hands. Dr. Leventhal was the icing on the cake! I would recommend the Berkley Eye Group to family and friends.
It was great that I was able to see Dr. Barboud so quickly after experiencing floaters in my left eye the night before. Dr. Bargoud did a thorough exam. After completing the exam he felt that I had three separate issues that weren’t concerning if they happened separately but being together he thought it best I see a retina specialist right away before the weekend and the July 4th holiday which was just around the corner. Dr. Bargoud got me an appointment with a retina specialist that same afternoon at NJRetina in Morristown. Turns out the gel was thinning above my left eye and there was a little blood besides something else which escapes me.
