“Our furnace went out on a Saturday evening when the temperature outside was in the negative numbers. The HVAC contractor we had used for years said they could not come out for days, and my wife had just come home from surgery so we really needed heat. So I randomly found Custom Cooling off the internet. They came out immediately, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. And considering it was a weekend and after hours, the price was reasonable too. And the technician was polite and professional. We will be switching from the HVAC contractor we have used for years over to Custom Cooling.“

“I’d been painting my walls and had to remove my ancient thermostat and couldn’t get it working again. By that time it was well after business hours but took a chance to call Star City and was surprised when an efficient 24-hour care team answered the call and were actually concerned about my issue. They took notes detailing directions, even after me calling three times in 12 hours to make adjustments as life changes quickly these days.They came as promised between eight and noon the next day and installed an easy to operate, efficient thermostat. I might add that I purchased a yearly maintenance program well over a year ago and since then they’ve been providing me with filters and check ups for my heat and air handler at no cost. This service is priceless as I live in Lincoln and go between this and another community. The charge for them to come out today was $49 plus parts. Now, I know this does sound like a contrived review but I’m a real customer and in the past year and a half using their service has has been priceless. I work overnights and I have to trust and count on services I hire when there’s so much uncertainty about well run businesses, products and customer service. I’d highly recommend them. At this point their prices are reasonable, and HVAC is vital in this time of climate change. Their services impeccable Thanks Star City!“

“I needed to replace my 30 year old furnace and AC and not only did Capitol have the best price, they had several excellent suggestions for the update--including moving the AC unit off my back patio (finally!) to a more quiet location. They use reliable, good-looking Rheem units. The installing technicians were friendly, professional, experienced and knew the particulars of working on an older house like mine. The sales manager and office were also prompt, attentive and very helpful. This was my first whole-house HVAC replacement and everything was great. As a bonus, they're just down the street, which is comforting. ;D An honest and earned five stars!“
